Does it matter? As long as the two people are compatible enough and there is a spark of romance... why not? People from different worlds can make wonderful couples, so long as they both realize neither of their micro-community/ cultures is superior to the other all the time. That means, however, that one culture WILL be superior for situation but not necessarily for another situation. Beware of Tacomas. AT least used ones. Toyota had a MASSIVE problem a few years ago with them. The frames were so thin that they actually CRACKED when whacked by RUBBER MALLET. Owners had to bring their Tacomas in and have it inspected by Toyota... if the frame cracked Toyota would buy back your truck on the spot.... but not full price!!!!! Google it, you'll see. Ford F-150 is the toughest truck out there. But wait till next year if you can... a new generation of Ecoboost engines will start being placed in the F-150s. V8 power with V6 fuel consumption! Don't do it. My dad had one... he was all proud because he that he was doing the environment a favor....wrong. Those batteries are not 'eco-friendly'. Also, the driving experience of a Prius is really bad. I had an opportunity to take it on a 150 mile trip. The thing cruised along alright... but the problem was accelerating. It had pathetic acceleration. I was scared of getting creamed by a semi on the freeway. I have driven every kind of passenger vehicle you can name... and the Prius was the worst driver! My old 88 Dodge Minivan did better! If you want a decent driving experience, get a Ford Fusion Hybrid. It is a car built on a regular car chassis, so it handles like a regular car. Most of the mechanicals are identicals to the regular Fusion, so maintenance will be less of a concern. The reliability of Fusions are BETTER THAN ACCORD or CAMRY (according to COnsumer reports and True Delta). So at least you know your car won't break down on you. Lastly, the Fusion has pretty good safety scores... something Prius isn't known for. If you NEED a hybrid, the Fusion is the top of the heap at the moment. However Ford will be bringing over the Fiesta compact next year which will reportedly get 40mpg. It is a very popular car in Europe where gasoline is twice as expensive as here. Good Luck! FOX news works because most of the other mass media fountains are obviously in lock-step.... Why would anyone watch them. The only people I know who like CNN, MSNBC et al. are die-hard liberals.
