New lead fear for consumers: Dental work -- Politics, Ohi...

Greetings, Many domestic dental labs have been testing there own products produced here in the states and the results were unexpected. They contain lead.] Also the ADA states that the limit for lead in dental devices is 300ppm. The material problem is not China's it's the manufactures, the FDA, the CDC, and the ADA. Thank you, John Collins CDT, MDT Bio-Comp Dental Laboratory Ivyland, PA  (Apr 17, 2008 | post #1)

You ever visited Puerto Rico and met it's people?

So many people, I didn't get close enough to the cows to see. I thinking they were some cheap China knock offs and not genuine Ray-Bans. Ha!  (Nov 25, 2007 | post #77)

Can someone educate me in on the future status of “section 936 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code”? Is this a done deal or is there a chance of this being re-enacted? Also... This article states that local law governing industrial tax breaks are due to expire next year, and that lawmakers' can’t agree on a renewed version. What could they be thinking? Can someone fill me in on this situation? Sorry for my ignorance. Best, John  (Nov 25, 2007 | post #1)

As a youth I snorkeled for conch in the grassy areas just North of Cabo Rojo at times when the surf was flat. We would sell the meat to the restaurants for a few cents and sell the shell to the guests at the hotels for a few dollars! A childhood buddy’s hobby is photographing lighthouses all over the world. A couple years back we did an all boys surf trip to Isabela and photographed a few lighthouses including Cabo Rojo’s. The view is stunning and the rock formations are beautiful. And on the subject of Cows.. On that trip we attended the "festival of the cow" in San Sebastián and had a great time. Best, John  (Nov 25, 2007 | post #75)

Hi USmail, I love Cabo Rojo. My wife and I spend the day there if we want to get out of the rain. BTW I will be in Taipei for 2 days in early Dec before the China Air rewards black out period. Are you a Tea fan? I just love the wonderful teas there.. I always spend too much $ on them. Best, John  (Nov 25, 2007 | post #60)

I bought from a friend of Mikes from NC about five or six years ago. I think Freddie Ramos may have just done a house for my friend Tim Cannon at Shacks,at the end of mike's street thru the gate and accross the lot. Do you know Tim?  (Nov 23, 2007 | post #31)

I’ve been to restaurants where dog, cat, and rat were on the menu. BTW keep away from the thousand year egg I don’t think it would have the correct texture for you.  (Nov 23, 2007 | post #162)
