Liars

I'm thinking this is all just voluntary ignorance, not blatant lying. I've discovered that even some of the stewards don't know or understand what's in the contract. The $1000/$1B is actually accurate, minus 15%.  (23 hrs ago | post #3)

Mopar profits?

To answer your original question "in the know" the answer is yes. And to "rip", "modified operating profits" are profits BEFORE interest payments and taxes are taken into consideration. This is a good thing.  (Thursday Jan 15 | post #4)

TPT situation

She got lucky. I applied part time and ended up full time. It all depends on corporate and what they pull you for, and whether you take it. Not everyone gets full time off the bat. It sucks, but it is what it is. One day, everyone will eventually make full time but the question is, when?  (Dec 14, 2014 | post #22)

TPT situation

Just hang on. At JNAP, there's almost an entire shift's worth of people in the attendance program. They'll get fired shortly.  (Dec 12, 2014 | post #11)

30 and out on the chopping block?

It's not a bad thing, but if you're still able to work, then why retire? Heck, you spend 30 years, you've got enough vacation time to enjoy life. Quite a few of us are only working 4 days a week right now anyway... C-Crew doesn't count. They don't get any sleep so technically they work the equivalent of 9 days a week. ...yes, I am aware that there are only 7 days in a week  (Dec 6, 2014 | post #29)
