O's go big on offer to Teixeira

Whomever is reporting that has lost all credibility for the rest of their existence.  (Dec 11, 2008 | post #107)

Source: Red Sox, Pedroia agree on six-year, $40.5M deal

HEY ORIOLES! WAKE THE F **** UP! THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT YOUR YOUNG PLAYERS!  (Dec 3, 2008 | post #2)

Give Angelos a hand for being hands-off

Is that really the title of your article, Rick? If he was hands-off for the last 11 years, we wouldn't be making all this hub-bub in November. Once again, another Sun writer brown-nosing up to the brass. WEAK!  (Nov 12, 2008 | post #28)

Loewen could give Orioles ultimate bad appearance

Uh, dave, I don't think you have to worry about the Orioles appearing any worse to perspective players. Please write something not racially driven or not blatantly obvious in the future. You columns have been horrendous of late.  (Oct 26, 2008 | post #38)

It's another thrill for Waters

Nice to see one of the young guys (Adam Jones) hungry to get better and improve. Some of these other guys just seem like the losing has sucked it out of them. Here's to 2009!  (Sep 20, 2008 | post #3)

Yanks complete sweep of O's

I agree 110%! Even though he's been a pro for 9 seasons now, he may finally have figured it out. Why not give him 6 weeks to show what he's got? The team is, unfortunately, destined for last place :(  (Aug 24, 2008 | post #18)

Can't hold on

The offense is not the problem. Get some freaking pitching and get some freaking infield defense somewhere besides second base.  (Aug 12, 2008 | post #101)

Should Orioles home in on Burnett?

A career .500 pitcher for $11M / year? That doesn't sound like rebuilding to me Dan ...  (Jul 13, 2008 | post #41)

In wake of historic defeat, questions chase Big Brown

I'm happy that Dutrow and IEAH lost. I wish the horse and Kent D all the best. Hopefully this was Dutrow's only shot. That guy is a cheater/degenerate /<insert something derogatory here> and doesn't deserve anything after all the BS he has pulled. I'm disappointed to yet again see Triple Crown hopes dashed, but somehow I think the connections had this coming to them. It will happen again someday. After Citation in 1948 it was 25 years, then there was 3 in 6 years, now we're 30 years later. And enough about lengthening time between races people. That's what makes it so tough!!! Also, I think it will be nice to see Curlin take it to Big Brown (if he races in the fall) if and when that time comes ...  (Jun 8, 2008 | post #21)

Trachsel's status with O's in doubt -- Baltimore Orioles,...

Trachsel needs to just be let go. At this point, we aren't going to compete for a playoff spot. Let one of the young guys come up and pitch in the rotation instead. That benefits us more in the long run.  (May 31, 2008 | post #3)

O's, Yankees could be headed in opposite directions

O's fans ... isn't it nice to have, what seems to be, some real optimism for the future?  (May 19, 2008 | post #6)

Pettitte, Yankees shut down Orioles

The last thing the O's need is an attitude in the clubhouse who whines about playing time when he's hitting under .200 after three weeks of the season. The Blue Jays knew he was becoming a problem and showed him the door before it got out of control. The O's have tried too many stop-gaps like Big Hurt over the years. Don't get me wrong ... I like the thought (and Thomas has always RAKED at OPACY), but not this year. This is still a developing year for younger players who don't need ABs taken away from them for Frank Thomas. My hunch is we'll see what this team is made of after the upcoming barrage of road games. Hopefully they come back after 17 road games of the next 20 still hovering around .500. I think this string of road games will provide insight on what the rest of the season is going to be like and show us what kind of resolve this team possesses. GO BIRDS!  (Apr 20, 2008 | post #7)
