How to be a great rapper

YEA I told you man, just think positive like the cho-cho train "I think I can", I was impressed not too shaby you even had a plan, start of adressing problems and with it you just ran, when you're real your rhyming it has an endless lifespan, whenever you write your heard should control your hand, I too think these so called "rappers " we should ban, the direction of rap needs to be flipped like a pancake in a pan, but yea good job keep on spitting, always be real when you write never be bull-shitting, is there anything else J-MAC's forgetting? nahh don't think so bro, just keep it up and your rhymes like a river they'll flow, and J-MAC will have to say "yo that shits hot fo-show"  (Sep 25, 2008 | post #688)

Everybody saying they G but acting like a punk/rhymes be weak like a brittle old man understand they bunk/ if this were the class of rap you’d flunk/ your style it stinks like the smell emitted by a skunk/ my shit’s bumping like two 20 inch subs in a trunk/ I got mad flow like B-I-G in “Machine Gun Funk”/yes you’ll note that I love to quote, what other rappers have wrote/ people listened to them when they spoke, and I hope you listen to me like your mom when she says “put on a coat”/ I say what needs to be said/ so people read what needs to be read/ these weak incoherent rhymers I dread/ they’re rapping on M-T-V patheticaLLY impairing thoughts in your head/ so like the Jews from the Germans I fled/ went to a man named Dan and plead/ “help me man my rhymes they weak they dead”/ he fixed my game gave me a name and inspired me to move ahead/ so I’m here stressing this lesson holding “rap-ed”/ attempting to wean out the bad rappers like K-fed/ put the conventional rap I call crap to bed/ either with a pencil and it’s lead/ or a pen and it’s ink, to ya’ll I’m gonna express what I think/ how I feel towards rap and what aspects of it most appeal/ your true and honest thoughts you should never conceal/ instead these feelings you must reveal/ Can ya’ll agree to that if you rap do we have a deal?/  (Sep 12, 2008 | post #681)

Haha ohh okay thanks for clearing that up. I agree with you about Dre but have you checked out all of Game's music? Yes hes does talk about Dre alot and even Pac and Biggie, but that's only to show his respect. You should, if you haven't, listen to the song "Doctor's Advocate" with Busta and I mean LISTEN to what Game says. he's being honest with his listeners, gotta respect that. But we'll agree to disagree is that's the matter.  (Sep 6, 2008 | post #677)

Dear ultimate-meatalhea d, (yawn) Oh excuse me but you're writing was just SOOOOOO boring I couldn't help but yawning. Ooo I'm sooo excited I love to debate people but only ones with at least some intellect, so unfortunately that leaves you out. You see, the reason why I do not view myself, or anyone else in this forum asides from you and that previous ignoramus, as “losers” or “low lifes” is because we did not search rap forums only to put down the people who are interested in the genre (which I can tell from your name, ultimate metal head, that you are not). Why would someone do that? The title of the forum is “How to be a great rapper” ( I restated it just in case you’re illiterate seeing you participated in a forum not related to you) it’s not “share your thoughts and opinions about rap music”. Since you feel the need to announce your “racial status”, as will I. I am a white Canadian. I am currently attending university majoring in psychology, what do you do if I may ask?. You, and the many African Americans you put down, share a similar characteristic: you love to put down others in an attempt to make you feel superior to them, whether it be African Americans or rappers (for some peculiar reason you must have a vendetta with us or something lol ). Why do you and many others do this? It is a vain attempt to help you deal with your insecurity about your race/ethnicity and many other aspects of your life. “There’s nothing wrong with me it’s those black rappers yah it’s them they’re such low lifes and that J-MAC guy too he’s a loser cuz he’s different from me and I’m the better one”. I take no offense what so ever from your pathetic insults as I do not respect nor value your opinion. You don’t have to like rap music, as a matter of fact you can hate it. But to generalize and say that all rap sucks and it “is for people who are arrogant” is just pure ignorance. You say all rappers talk about is about how much money they have and “how they are gonna screw that big ass white girl across the room” ( don’t know any rap song that says that lol), but what allows you to draw that conclusion? You don’t listen to rap, I’m assuming unless you’re like that other idiot who makes fun of things that he participates in, so how can you say that? I hope you’re not talking about that mainstream conventional rap on the radio, yes I agree a majority of it takes no talent to produce, but I, and many others in this forum, listen to REAL rap; rap that has meaning to its lyrics. If you call those rappers, like Tupac, arrogant and ridiculous then I have no doubt in my mind that my previous statement stating you are an idiot is TRUE. CASE CLOSED!!!  (Sep 6, 2008 | post #675)

Not quite sure what you meant by " dre days" but The Game wasn't producing music during the Dre era as far as I know. I could be wrong?  (Sep 5, 2008 | post #665)

Magazine Names Tupac Shakur 'Most Overrated'

That's sad that someone would publish an article stating Tupac is the most overated rapper. I can only assume that the writer of this article is completely ignorant to rap. R.I.P pac you're still the best rapper dead or alive AMEN.  (Sep 5, 2008 | post #2)

Eminem Talks Comeback & Beef With 50 Cent

Well put Em has much better flow and delivery than Wayne. However, you know weezys got some one liners up his sleeve that he would more then gladly throw at Em. But camparing the two, Em is the better all around rapper in my opinion; it's like comparing apples and oranges though as they have two COMPLETLEY different styles.  (Sep 5, 2008 | post #21)

Rap

Eminem Talks Comeback & Beef With 50 Cent

There is on other rapper dead or alive that has better flow than Biggie. Em's lyricss may be more meaningful, but when it comes to flow Biggie is the BEST hands down c'mon man do your research. I agree with your pac statement though.  (Sep 5, 2008 | post #19)
