Some gay-rights foes claim they now are bullied

The false assumption you continue to make is that so-called homosexuals have been denied marriage equality as American citizens, which is a clear denial of reality. The requirements for marriage apply equally to all American citizens in all states with the exception of states that allow special treatment for same sex couples. Why should so-called homosexuals be exempt from the requirements for marriage since they apply equally to all American citizens?  (Feb 10, 2012 | post #12072)

The term sexual orientation doesn't even apply to so-called homosexuality. The term homosexual is a pseudo-term in search of a definition. Science did in no way prove that homosexuality was not a disorder. You are referring to the bullying of the APA by homosexual militant activist. Treating so-called homosexuality as though it is normal is why so-called homosexuals continue to suffer and die.  (Feb 10, 2012 | post #810)

Again, you miss the point. It was not my statement - it was Walker's statement, which supports the fact that Prop 8 could not and does not violate the 14th Amendment of the Constitution. The fact that the requirements for marriage apply equally to all American citizens in every state is irrefutable. Your assertion that so-called homosexuals are not treated equally under the law is nothing more than a logical fallacy unsupported by the Constitution. Where in the Constitution are same sex attractions protected?  (Feb 8, 2012 | post #12052)

I know. I believe I read a link you posted concerning very valid arguments against same sex marriage to which lides ignored. This is nothing new because lides believes there is no compelling state interest in denying same sex marriage but obviously the majority of the states do not feel that way. Same sex marriage is completely contrary to what traditional marriage is.  (Feb 8, 2012 | post #6998)

So-called homosexuality can only exist as a disorder, which science has not proved otherwise. The suffering and death is what so-called homosexuals inflict on themselves and each other.  (Feb 8, 2012 | post #779)

Looking through a homoerotic lens does not make so-called homosexuality less deviant.  (Feb 7, 2012 | post #769)

Sure they have. The majority of states do not allow same sex marriage.  (Feb 7, 2012 | post #768)

The very definition of abnormal applies to so-called homosexuality, as do the terms deviant and disorder. Science nor any academic evidence has been able to prove otherwise.  (Feb 7, 2012 | post #6899)

However, since your understanding is limited, you are not able to see that Walker undermines his claim that Prop 8 violates the 14th Amendment with his own statement. There is no discrimination. Walker attempted to codify desires into law. The requirements for marriage apply equally to all American citizens in every state. Why do so-called homosexuals believe they should not have to play by the same rules as everyone else?  (Feb 7, 2012 | post #12043)

That's right. No legal support. The Constitution does not support same sex attractions.  (Feb 7, 2012 | post #962)

The evidence at trial shows that marriage in the United States traditionally has not been open to same-sex couples.” Judge Vaughn Walker "Prop 8 doesn’t violate the Fourteenth Amendment because every person in America already has equal marriage rights. We’re all playing by the same rules—we all have the same right to marry any non-related adult of the opposite sex. Those rules do not deny anyone “equal protection of the laws” because the qualifications to enter a marriage apply equally to everyone—every adult person has the same right to marry." Then they don't get married just like other American citizens who don't meet the requirements.  (Feb 6, 2012 | post #12035)
