I am amazed that Metro High School is still teaching about man-made global warming when hacked e-mails reveal that the facts to dis-prove man-made global warming have been destroyed. Metro High school teaching students about a flawed science of climate change invalidates its entire charter. One would have to come to the conclusion that all of Metro's course studies are addled and convoluted. It is a shame that the student mentioned in the article is studying a sham. Governor Strickland is correct. Cutting Ohio's education budget is his only option, because the Governor has proven over the last two years that he does not have the managerial skills to bring jobs and tax revenue to the state. When your only claim to fame is having ownership of a psychology degree and being able to thump the bible, you are woefully ill-prepared to be a governor. Desperate times shine a light on a persons abilities. Now the voters of Ohio have come to realize that they voted in an 80/20 governor. Any person can be a governor when 80 percent of the time that the economy is performing at its peak. but it is the 20 percent of the time when the economy is flagging and jobs are scarce when you find out what type of person that Ohio has elected as governor. I fail to understand why The Columbus Dispatch found it necessary to put this story on the front page. The so called scientist Al Gore was quoting, Dr. Maslowski, already had thrown Mr. Gore under the climate change bus before the Dispatch went to print, stating that his research and comments never should have been used to make such bold predictions about the polar ice caps. Headlines around the world are calling this an embarrassing moment for the the climate change snake oil salesman, Al Gore. However, The Columbus Dispatch felt it was necessary to report pseudo-science in lieu of scientific fact. I consider this very sloppy reporting at best and journalistic malpractice at worst by the Columbus Dispatch for wasting the ink on this scientific fantasy.  (8 hrs ago | post #11)

Tiger Woods has always been shunned by blacks. However;Tigers penchant for having a white wife or cheating on said wife with white women is not the reason. What blacks resent the most is Tiger's success with no assistance's from a government program. Tiger, just like Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas have risen to success via their hard work and dedication. It galls many blacks that Tiger and Clarence Thomas took advantage of what America has to offer, not wait around for a hand out. What I find amazing is that we have a president who has just be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and is a man of some reputed intelligence who still believe in climate change. Obama must subscribe to faith based science, 'you do not need facts to come to a conclusion'. Any climate change is do to the normal ebb and flow of nature. With Obama's arrival in Copenhagen adding some sort of validity to left leaning globalist only demeans the United States and its presidency. Obama will be kibitzing with such luminaries who want to limit all families in the world to one child, limit all families in the world to one car, people who think what we exhale every second of every day is harmful to the planet, even though trees need it to survive.
