Many different things can cause this condition. Strenuous activity, constipation, prolonged diarrhea, coughing spasms. As long as it is not a thrombosed hemorrhoid, (dark red, or blue) then it's not normally dangerous. You're lucky you're not having pain. You really should see a doctor, just to verify that it is indeed nothing more than a hemorrhoid. (May 6, 2012 | post #266)
I am not familiar with hemclear yet. Perhaps I'll try it next. One thing you need to understand is that a product that works for one person may not work for the next. Just like penicillin when it was first used, it was considered amazing and a miraculous cure. There were, those few people who were resistant and those who were allergic and actually died. Everyone has different body chemistry. (Apr 30, 2012 | post #30)
I happen to believe that hard work never hurt anyone and today's kids are growing up soft. Not used to working for what is being handed to them. However, I don't want the government to tell me what to do with my kid. (Apr 30, 2012 | post #1)
I think doing this yourself is a bad idea. However, my nephews doctor told him to do this for a large skin tag he had. Being a diabetic, he had trouble healing and didn't want to go that route. Dealing with an HMO, he just couldn't get the problem taken care of by a doctor. Anyway, they're just supposed to die and drop off. I was a video of the procedure though and it looks like it may be more involved than you might initially think when it comes to tying off hemorrhoids. (Apr 30, 2012 | post #146)
Yes, www.webmd.com is good for information. I did my initial research there. Hank, can you tell me how you turned your webmd.com into a link? I'm trying to learn this. (Apr 30, 2012 | post #3)
Make sure you're getting high amounts of fiber so you don't have constipation to avoid more pressure on those swollen hemorrhoids. Because you're so right, each bowel movement can and most likely will further irritate the hemorrhoid. (Apr 30, 2012 | post #259)
This self-removal of hemorrhoids sound insane. Do you realize how many different ways thing could go wrong with these procedures? Please just go to a doctor. If you're concerned about that, get some references to find a reputable doctor. (Apr 30, 2012 | post #239)
