walmart blocks target store

When we get a Target I expect it will go in around the Corsicana Crossing area, Hwy 45 and Hwy 287, there they would pick up the Richland-Chambers traffic and not compete head to head with Wal-Mart.  (Mar 10, 2012 | post #8)

What do you think would improve this forum?

I asked them about this, and they told me pissing you off was the only fun they get. :-)  (Feb 23, 2012 | post #11)

Collin Street Bakery On Its Way To Lindale

I just checked the page after I posted the above and they now have this on there. "Our newest Texas Bakeshop just opened in Lindale, on Interstate 20 & FM 849, Hideaway Lake exit. If you're in the area, stop in & say hello!"  (Jan 26, 2012 | post #10)

Collin Street Bakery On Its Way To Lindale

Thanks, I did not catch that the article I was reading was from 2009. Hopefully they do well there. (still I am surprised the web page did not show it as open)  (Jan 26, 2012 | post #9)

Collin Street Bakery On Its Way To Lindale

The story was just about the plans to build the new location in Lindale (Tyler). They will start construction in the spring of 2012 with plans to be open for the Christmas rush in the fall. I am sure they will announce the opening here: http://www.collins treet.com/  (Jan 21, 2012 | post #5)

The survey was online as well and was open to those outside the city limits. Check the Cities website weekly and sign up for email notifications. I get notifications from several cities I have an interest in. http://www.ci.cors icana.tx.us/  (Dec 23, 2011 | post #4)

Yes he can complain all he wants, but until he or someone else does some work it is not going to change. Currently you can not get a State license to operate a bar under the defination Wisdom wants to see in Corsicana. It has been less than ten years since we voted in Restaurant Bars, before that we only had Private Clubs. The petiton has to come from the public to the State to call for a local option election. As I said before: The Secretary of State has oversight over local option elections. For questions about specific election procedures, please contact the Secretary of State's Office, or visit the Secretary of State's website.  (Dec 10, 2011 | post #20)

None of the above, not that you care. *** If you want to change what type of liquor establishments are allowed in Corsicana, you are going to have to start with the State. The link above will tell you what to do. I realize that would involve some work on your part. Or you can keep on complaining about the same stuff here, which sure seems to have gotten you far down the road to no where.  (Dec 10, 2011 | post #19)

You either do not live here or drive around with blinders on. You can look up the addresses here: http://www.tabc.st ate.tx.us/  (Dec 9, 2011 | post #9)

according to the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Corsicana has 13 active Bars and 3 active Private Clubs that have full licenses to serve liquor. There are other permits out in the County as well.  (Dec 8, 2011 | post #6)
