I definitely don't agree with the Black Panthers or the Nation of Islam on their determination of "racial justice." Violence and intimidation are no way to solve race-related issues. (May 26, 2009 | post #41)
I didn't see the flier but this "negro" could certainly read it if given the opportunity. I could also correct any grammatical errors found on the flier. Oh, but what am I saying? We "Negroes " are only good for playing basketball and performing tricks. We certainly cannot read. Heaven forbids it. (May 26, 2009 | post #40)
Wow, a whole city is hard up for one freakin penny? They can find that on the sidewalk and call it even! (Nov 21, 2008 | post #267)
That's kind of... disturbing. A necklace of Barbie heads does not sound appealing. But I guess this is someone else's way of going green??? (Nov 21, 2008 | post #4)
I bet it's hot under that roman collar! (Nov 21, 2008 | post #6)
Good for him! Now please don't get cancer from cell phone usage. (Nov 21, 2008 | post #3)
If you have someone to hate, hey, at least you can blame them for every single problem that you've ever had in life. Hitler used that mentality against the Jews, and the KKK uses that against everyone that's not white or those who associate with the "others. " What a sad reality we live in. It all comes down to inferiority complexes. (Nov 21, 2008 | post #18)
There is a front page article in The Spinnaker on who the student is and a bit of his history. I cried as I read. You just never know what kind of pressure the people around you have on their shoulders. (Nov 21, 2008 | post #182)
Ugh, when I got that e-mail from the school I was mortified. If someone had just hugged him that day... we still don't know who he was. (Nov 14, 2008 | post #45)
caught 3 sharks during the summer at the pier, and i'm pretty sure i'll never swim there because of that! (Nov 14, 2008 | post #10)
Aaah, watching the sunrise at our beautiful beach and eating breakfast at Shelby's is the making of a perfect day. People who don't have a beach: be jealous. (Nov 14, 2008 | post #9)
I wasn't trying to make Obama guilty by any association to Wright. I never even mentioned that. After he urged Wright to stop going on these interviews which were making Obama look bad, Obama removed himself from that church. The fact that Wright himself cannot remove such hate from his heart is what embarrasses me. And that feeling has nothing to do with Obama. I supported, donated, and volunteered for Mr. Obama-- especially after the whole Jeremiah Wright fiasco. (Nov 14, 2008 | post #88)
He makes me embarrassed to be black... I understand where a lot of those sentiments he spewed out came from, but for a lot of young blacks in my generation, we don't want to hear that messed up hate-speech anymore. We're really just tired of it. (Nov 12, 2008 | post #20)
