Today's election day in 7th District

Amen! I am just sitting back laughing at this clown's lack of knowledge on this subject. I probably should be crying, though, because more people are moving toward this vein of thought because it is the easy way out.  (Mar 18, 2008 | post #685)

Yes it is socialism, pure and simple.  (Mar 17, 2008 | post #674)

Pat Knight: IU should hire Alford

Knight was by no means perfect, but the difference is that he never tarnished the integrity of the game like Peter Rose did. That I can not forgive.  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #311)

Dunleavy stays hot, scores 32 points in victory

I really want the Pacers to play as hard as they can as I can't ever imagine laying down. That is akin to cheating. With that being said, I really want them to lose, though, so that we will get a lottery pick.  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #51)

Carson wins seat in 7th District race

I'm sorry, but the few of us that live in the district any actually pay taxes instead of living off the system are the only thing holding the district together.  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #153)

Carson vows not to miss House votes

Carson wins seat in 7th District race

I know of at least one precinct that voted overwhelmingly Elrod as I watched the votes being counted. That being said, we need to move on. We will never beat the Carson machine. They may not know much about what to do in Washington, but they are about the best there is in getting there!  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #77)

How do you know? Were you there? I was at one of the polls and watched the count there. It was unconceivable how loose everything was, but that is not where I think the problems happened. I am getting over it. I am ready to move on. I just hope that Andre can prove me wrong and do what he says.  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #619)

Julia embarrassed us almost every day Congress was in session by not being there to vote. I would have no problem if Burton got voted out, but I am not going to work for or against it because that is not my district, the 7th is.  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #618)

Although I have no doubt that there were shenanigans, I think we just need to suck it up and move on. We will never, ever be able to beat the Carson machine in the 7th. They have it down to a science.  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #614)

And no, it is not bigotry to say that he won because he is black at all. it is a fact, but not bigotry.  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #613)

I'm sorry, but I think you're an idiot if you really think what you are spouting. People should note vorte their interest. People should vote for the common interest.  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #612)
