B-12 and Lipotropic Injections for Weight Loss
I have always weighed around 130-140. I was in the military, so I have alot of muscle (under layers of fat now) The shots I guess are like non surgical lipo, and it like liquifys the fat i think and it passes out your urine or something like that. I have NO clue how much they cost. Now dont eat too little, if your body isnt getting enough calories, it will hold onto the fat that it has because it doesnt know when its next meal is gonna be or how big it will be. Dont be to discouraged, alot of women said they lose inches before they lose lbs, so maybe get yourself a little journal and record your inches (waist/hips/thighs ) and your weight and track the progress. I havent lost weight yet, but dont expect it. I wish lipo was cheaper, to help me get on my way. I had a thyroid disorder that they corrected ( I wasnt able to take that wonderful drug that reduces the size of the thyroid and makes you lose lots of weight) but some reason the goiter came back..but my thyroid functions are "normal" . I dont know, some times I want to give up, sometimes I cant find the motivation to exercise. My husband is deployed (along with all my friends) and my family is 1000 miles away, so its tough! I am in the same exact boat as you are. Im 5'8" 180 and have tried everything to get back down to 140-145. B12/lipo is not a miracle worker ( i too have 2 shots and no weight loss). The only miracle is liposuction!! But I heard theres places you can go now and a doctor will inject something in your arm..its like non-surgical liposuction. Have u heard of it? I saw it on a commercial once... (Apr 28, 2007 | post #739)

Its not phentermine, but it had the same effect one appetite control and costs much less! And you can get it without a prescription. http://www.phen.co m/order_online/ Unfortunately I cant tell you how it works because my problem is not appetite control. I eat because I have to. I never feel hungry, even if I dont eat all day. (Apr 26, 2007 | post #733)
B-12 and Lipotropic Injections for Weight Loss
So I have myself my first injection today. And I was such a whimp about it, I have a high tolerance for pain and needles do not bother me, but I was shaking!! I was nervous I would do it wrong, even though there are directions!! I finally got over myself and did it. How far is the needle supposed to go in. . . I was so nervous about it, i didnt do it far at all...it was far enough that the "open" tip wasn't showing and it all went in my muscle... but how far is it "supposed " to go? They are covered by insurance if you have a "B" vitamin deficiency. Otherwise, its mostly likely out of pocket, unless you have been going to the doctor for weight management and the doctor sees that you are not making sufficient process without medication. (Apr 20, 2007 | post #679)
