Does anyone here have any experience with the DSS?  (Oct 26, 2008 | post #2)

Police may be close to making arrest

Mccainisasenileidi ot You totally misinterpretted what I said, which does not surprise me in the least. When I say she was there for whatever reason, the reason I meant, but was attempting to be tactful about, was her addiction to drugs. My point, that you obviously missed, is that regardless of her reason for being there and getting in the car AND going into an abandoned building with what are assumed to be strangers, she didn't deserve what she got. They have no excuse for what they did to her. No...it was not an intelligent move on her part, but apparently her ability to reason was clouded by drugs. I guess you think what happened to her was "ok."  (Oct 26, 2008 | post #10)

Oh, I thought it was one woman, but I see now there were two, that we know about. Oh yes, I'm sure they've visited many other areas as well, like banaleeZ said. And the one not in a coma is cooperating with the police. That's good. I pray that they find them. Wish lynching wasn't outlawed, as they deserve to be hung by their nuts!  (Oct 25, 2008 | post #4)

I hope they nail them soon. I think it's sad that, for whatever reason, she found herself in an extremely high-risk situation, and that the perpetrators took advantage of her. What they put her through must've been so traumatizing. I mean, to beat het to the point of putting her in a coma? They're some heartless, evil, sick sons of b.'s I hope she comes out of the coma soon. I hope her and the cops are able to arrest and convict these maggots, to the furthest extent of the law. No doubt they have prior records. If they catch them, they are going down, for quite some time. Hopefully they get sent upstate, and there they will get what they deserve. Real men hate rapists. This will not win them any popularity contests in the big house. God willing, they'll get what's coming to them.  (Oct 25, 2008 | post #3)

Bush is a hero

What a hero, indeed. He just passed a law giving states more cash incentives to kidnap children from their loving parents and loving homes, to completely traumatize them so states can make a buck. What a hero, indeed. Thanks alot for depriving me of my son and depriving him of his mother, and devastating and destroying our lives. Really appreciate it. Now that's hero material.  (Oct 24, 2008 | post #32650)

Massachusetts D.S.S. Gets Nearly Failing Grade

Debra, I can sure relate to you! I'm sorry you and your son have been through the wringer at the hands of DSS. My now 3 year old son and I have too. I'm going through a TPR trial, as we speak. My baby, Jason, was taken from me in December. The reason has changed many times. First they took him and put him in "respite " for the weekend. That weekend is still going on and now I'm going to lose him. The reasons are rediculous and extremely frivolous. I never abused him. I never neglected him. I love the ground he walks on, and even though he's been away from me 10+ months, he knows it! Yes, everything is a big secret. That way, when they go to terminate your parental rights, you have no clue what you're defending yourself against, if you are unfortuanate enough, like me, to have things get that out of hand. It sucks, to say the very least. I learned, after the fact, that my son, who has a speech delay, was placed in a predominantly spanish speaking home. Imagine how frightening and traumatic that must've been for my poor baby? You want to fight? So do I. How can we get together and do something about DCF and their crimes against humanity? Anyone who has experience with this, please, let's talk and see what we can do.  (Oct 24, 2008 | post #8)

DCF routinely removes children from loving parents. They are given very lucrative incentives from the government to remove, place in foster homes, and ultimately, adopt away children from families who cannot afford to hire a good attorney. That's the really the bottom line. What would you consider "good cause" to take a child from his or her parents? Neglect? Abuse? Sure. Those are very good reasons to take a child from their parents. How about not signing a release of information at the advice of your attorney? How about getting yourself a new counselor without notifying DCF beforehand? How about taking prescribed medication after a surgical procedure or broken ankle? Do these seem like legitimate reasons to take a child from his mother? My son was taken from me in December of '07, for these very reasons. He has a speech delay, which I was addressing with a speech therapist. He has only ever understood english. When he was taken, not only were his services abruptly halted, but DCF placed him in a spanish-speaking home, where the foster mother needed an interpreter to understand english. So, he not only suffered the trauma of being taken from his mother, but was further traumatized by being placed with complete strangers who spoke a completely foreign language. What do you think about this? This is only part of the story. It gets worse.  (Oct 24, 2008 | post #1)
