I was chatting with a woman on the Tennessean website about that. She cannot get it for her child unless, as the state suggested, she lowers her income to get on welfare. Did anyone read the article? Their per deim went up, and that was based on Fed standards for the state, and was automatic. I am glad the per diem is tied into the federal standards, it keeps the lawmakers from claiming they should get more for travel. Now state employees are complaining that they did not get a raise, but if they travel for their job and get per diem their rates went up as well.  (Thursday Dec 3 | post #31)

I remember years ago a bus driver was accused by a student. His name was drug through the mud in the media, and his address was even given out on the news. These two people left a 7 year old the bus, and it only gets 8 posts, but when a police officer arrests a juvenile delinquent and his mother there was several posts against the police officer who did his job. Where are the posters that was outrage at PD? Why are they not posting against these two adults that failed to protect this child?
