What's the deal with Wisconsinites' state-ism?

This is such a stupid thread, do you people have nothing better to do? Since non of you are Wisconsin residents and I doubt former Kenosha lived there long how do you feel justified to judge something you dont know? I grew up in Kenosha, loved it..had no desire to lean toward Ilinois,nor any particular animosity toward it either. But dumb threads like this just promote those bad views and keep them going...maybe youall are actually jealous of Wisconsinites??? As to the comment about "escaping " if this is true then why are you posting such nonsense on here. I had to leave Kenosha due to work, and I have lived in many places since. Kenosha has very good schools, and is a great place to live, I wish my life were such that I could move back. Its amazing how people will complain about where they live but do nothing to better the problems they see, other than whine about them and scream about how "someone else" should fix those same problems. The crime rate of Chicago is much higher, but of course it is also a much larger city, so that would be expected. If you complainers dont like Kenosha..move..get out and stay out..go find Nirvana somewhere else..though thats not likely to happen. But maybe you would then appreciate where you came from then. So what if you can have a period at age 9 or 10 line "cave girls"... its your mental age and maturity that matters when you start..a 9 or 10...15 year old is no way mature enough to carry off a full relationship like that. Im on the gulf coast, many miles from you, however if you are serious and do a google or yahoo search for pitbull rescue, Im positive you will find many leads to ones already in exsistence. All rescues are in DIRE need of foster homes, like shelters they can only take so many before they are full too. Volunteer to be a foster home, see what real world many of these pits and all other breeds face and I can guarentte you will be as against breeding them as I am. Its hard to see any animal die just because someone bred them to make 250.00 and the sale either didnt take place or the home didnt work out. It happens, daily.. If you get in with a reputable rescue, they will pay for vet bills and transport needy pits to you. All will be spayed or nuetered, no breeding. Some of them are nationwide rescues. Extend your information beyond your home area and see what really happens. (May 20, 2008 | post #28)

You obviously know nothing about the world of animal shelters, I work in one and we euthanize upwards of 40 pitbulls a month...anywhere from healthy older dogs to young puppies...whoever thinks that most of them are adopted is just plain crazy cause it dosnt happen..They die. There are not enough people to adopt them all, and many of the puppies that do go out, as cute little puppies come back later as adults only to be killed then. And to breed more of them to end up in the same situation is irresponsible. People need to go take a real look at what happens to dogs and cats that are so overpopulated. Shielding yourself with the assumption that all these animals in shelters find homes is foolish. It dosnt happen. Pitbulls are overpopulated and overbred, rescues for them are swamped and when shelters try to find rescues to take them, they have no space so euthanizia takes place. Of course this applys to all breeds, but pits are especially hard to find places for. End of story...go ask your local kill shelter how many pits are put down there (if they will tell you) research pit rescues on the web and read thier stories..inform yourself to the truth.dont believe the lie that they find homes.
