After closing arguments, bankruptcy judge advises America...

Guess what judge? Neither side really wants to cut a deal and have put on the hot seat. Unfortunately for the union and in my opinion, you were hand picked by AMR and will most likely favor on voiding the existing contracts.  (Jun 3, 2012 | post #7)

AA Mechanic pops cork on You Tube!

This guy has a lot of raw emotion that many of us feel about the industries we work in but just do not have the nerve to express. He reminds me of the guy in the movies who encourages people to shout out. "I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!" http://www.youtube .com/watch?v=q_qgV n-Op7Q Yes, he's rough, but you have to love the man's passion about his beliefs and from what I heard and understand about the AMR/USAIR merger; he is actually more on target than many people would actually like to believe. It's well worth the watch.  (May 8, 2012 | post #10)

Southwest Airlines Sued Over 'Customers of Size' Policy

I've seen a picture of Ms Tiggeman and I really don't see a problem. If she require two seats to accommodate her size, then she should pay for two seats. It's not the airline's responsibility to cover the cost of her size situation even if her size is not something she has control of. For all I know, she could have a medical issue that makes her a larger than a normal individual. What if a passenger was required to fly in a horizontal position as the result of a medical condition, would you expect the airline to give that person 3 to 4 seats. I think not. Its very simple, if the passenger requires two seats, they should pay for two seats.  (May 8, 2012 | post #2)
