Killer provides no comfort at execution | The Columbus Di...

Who cares if the DNA didn't come back?! They guy is still a convicted rapist of 2 other women!! The death penalty isn't an effective deterrent because of how long it takes and how humane it is. I agree with the masses on this one. Speed it up, and make it LESS humane. I'm "an eye for an eye" kind of person. If you stabbed someone to death, you get stabbed to death, etc. If people aren't afraid of getting the death penalty, then it cannot be effective. Bring back the gallow, right @ Broad and High!  (Apr 21, 2010 | post #14)

South Side man found guilty in stabbing death | The Colum...

He went back to the apartment and stole the Playstation AFTER he stabbed him to death. That's where the tampering with evidence came in. Rumor's were the argument started over the girl because of Yoder beating on her.  (Apr 21, 2010 | post #10)

Teen wanted in stolen-car death turns himself in

I love your use of the English language. You and your brother have choices, as do all of us. No matter your upbringing, you know basic right from wrong. Do you really think you'll be a productive part of society talking like that? Would any of you reading this go to a doctor that talked this way? You can't even be a shift leader at McDonalds if that's the way you speak. YOU are where stereotypes come from.  (Apr 9, 2010 | post #29)

Man tried in '99 mystery | The Columbus Dispatch

Emily is a stone cold liar. Her stepdad IS in jail for biting of her mother's finger. Notice a trend? Your right Emily, he does sound like a "good man overall"!! You're straight up lying about the jewelry also! He admitted as much!  (Apr 9, 2010 | post #9)

Avalanche 5, Blue Jackets 1: Emotion lacking in loss | Bl...

Hitch has to go. He's a good coach, but not a good fit for this team. There will never be an NBA team in Columbus. 90% of NBA fans that live in the area couldn't afford the tickets anyway. Todd, I'll go ahead and speak for the rest of the Jackets fans. You're a **** . How did the av's "own" the Jackets when they didn't win against us once last year? Is this adam "todd" foote?  (Feb 3, 2010 | post #16)

Rob Oller commentary: One win doesn't fix problems | The ...

I agree with the both of you! Oller is my least favorite dispatch writer! I agree that one win doesn't fix everything, but it's a step in the right direction. The Jackets need to stick with the physical play. That's the part of their game that has been lacking all season. And it's about damn time Nash stepped up and played physical. For being the captain, I think he puts up with way too much crap from other teams, i.e. Getzlaf!! I think they guys would respond more to a fiery captain who doesn't put up with that crap!  (Dec 29, 2009 | post #3)

Mason needs shorter memory | The Columbus Dispatch

Regardless of what you think John, for the Jackets to compete this year, he'll have to be good and continue to improve! He led the league with ten shutouts last year (as a rookie), and won the Calder Trophy. Mase is only 21! He had (and played with) mono last year! I'm not sure what you're definition of overrated is?! Apparently you're expecting him to be the next Roy.  (Oct 28, 2009 | post #2)

City wants to make it up to freed twin

RIGHT....you're either speaking of war, full of it, or you know people who are choosing to hang out w/ the wrong people. I'm guessing it's option #2.  (Sep 18, 2009 | post #96)

City wants to make it up to freed twin

I don't know what it's like to lose someone to murder and doubt that I ever will. Very rarely are people murdered out of the blue. If you've had something like that happen to you, you, someone you know, or the people they associate with are probably doing something they shouldn't be doing. I'm not heartless, just real. Everyone has choices in life. No matter what kind of who/what/where you grew up, you've had a choice. You've had the choice of who you associate yourself with and the choice of right from wrong. If you make bad decisions in life, bad things usually happen.  (Sep 17, 2009 | post #94)

City wants to make it up to freed twin

I have a friend close to the investigation/prosecution, and trust me when I say if this kid's truly not guilty, he at least had something to do with it. The city doesn't owe him anything. Now this kid's saying he wants to become an investigator to do whatever he has to do to find his brother's killer....yeah, I'll believe that when I see it. This kid is another tragic case of becoming a product of his environment. Way to go mom, at least now you'll get that check you've always felt you deserved!!  (Sep 10, 2009 | post #19)
