Too bad the Ottomans stole Constantinople, at first you see Istanbul and you see the travel pictures of a nice city, then you go and you see what was once a nice European city, but more of a Ghetto. You see dilapidated building in need of repair, it a cross between Europe with a strong touch of Zimbabwe.. We see as we always see with Islam, the curse of Islam to the Muslims who choose to be curses for following the sins of the false prophet Mohammad. Turks please leave the occupied land today and give back the city to Europe as it can be restored before it becomes ill-reparable (8 hrs ago | post #202201)

Of course religion roots are rules for people. Those rules can be abused from humans that take advantage of that and start religions, like Mohammad did. That said, some of the rules are better for humanity, and there is a God, unlikely we were created from thin air (actually less than that regarding the Atheist Theory) So what we are left with is common since and one true path to a creator and rules that are logical. For example Islam would be out because considering Non-Muslims a lesser of a person and converting and killing them is not logical (20 hrs ago | post #201937)

Everyone knows the number killed, no one will be influenced by an incorrect number by error. Your concern is not the important issue, who cares what some memory concert promotes. What is of concern is that there are people motivated by a religion that have death camps and numerous membership in the ten of thousand to known Islamic terrorist organizations inspired by the Qu'ran to murder innocent people at their office desks.
