Mooresville school sued over Bible classes

Actually the Nazi's didn't believe in Christianity, they believed themselves to be the children of Aryan Gods. Nazi Germany may have been defeated, but there are many fascists living here in the USA.  (Jul 19, 2009 | post #518)

Mooresville school sued over Bible classes

No religion in school. I don't want my kids learning about your God in his classes. Religion is a personal choice. Smacks of fascism, drink our kool-aid (remember Jim Jones is from Indiana).  (Jul 19, 2009 | post #517)

Do we need a new Wishard?

Yes, because the other hospitals already have a huge wait in the ER, try up to 6 hours.  (Jul 13, 2009 | post #4)

Proposed cost for new Wishard Hospital: $754M

Geez that's expensive. Didn't we just spend $700 million on a football stadium? Maybe we should move Wishard there.  (Jul 13, 2009 | post #1)

City, Neighbors Unite Against Prison Move

Ignore what I wrote about asking what they were doing. I found the article. Interesting situation. Has anyone been to the other work release location to see what it's like?  (Jul 9, 2009 | post #3)

City, Neighbors Unite Against Prison Move

Interesting. What move is happening? You are right in that the DOC operates in a world of silence, the less you know, the more they gain. To their administration, citizens are not treated any different than inmates (because they are all potential guests, including the guards). There is a reason they don't hire the best and the brightest. Ignorance is bliss. Odds are the guards had an inkling of what was going on, but only the higher ups knew the whole picture. You have to use the Freedom of Information Act to get the information you want. You can't expect them to publicly say anything voluntarily. If you ask nicely they will say "we can't tell you, it might aid an inmate in escaping" or some BS like that. Good luck in your fight, whatever it is.  (Jul 9, 2009 | post #2)

Obama - Butcher of Our Freedoms !

REALLY? Where have you been the last 8 years? The creation of the TSA Nazis, the NSA spying, Homeland Security, no-warrant searches, phone taps, eminent domain seizures, the (un)Patriot Act don't all ring a bell? So its ok to destroy rights as long as you wrap yourself in the flag and say its American?  (Jul 9, 2009 | post #8)

Should Obama be Impeached?

I liked Bush Sr. He was a good man, voted for him twice. Looks like the acorn (nut) fell far from the tree.  (Jul 9, 2009 | post #194)

Should Obama be Impeached?

So many fascists! I'd rather be a commie than a Nazi. Bush was the worst president in history and yet a noisy 24% of the population constantly hate on a guy who is now stuck cleaning up 8 years of Bush Fascism (and Cheney is ten times worse than Bush, he should be tried for treason). A failed businessman, a failed governor, and a failed excuse of a president.  (Jul 9, 2009 | post #193)

Indianapolis mother rolls over on baby while sleeping

I agree indychick. And she's lucky the child isn't dead. Brain damaged though? Very likely.  (Jul 9, 2009 | post #2)

Curfew sweep nets 82 teens after Expo events

Simply put, criminal activity increased because the expo attracted some people who already wanted to behave in a criminal manner to a central location. So some of the criminal activity that would have happened in the 'hood, happened downtown. I was a city medic for YEARS and crime and 911 calls were always up during the expo. It sucks but it's true.  (Jul 22, 2007 | post #14)

Only public safety to be spared cuts

Is Steve Goldsmith still around? I sorta liked him as mayor before I moved away. Bring him back.  (Jul 22, 2007 | post #102)

Illegal Immigrants Expanding Footprint

Charlie, Not a bad story at all and I can agree with most of it. However after living in Arizona for 10 year I can say that illegals are a burden as well as a benefit. I would love to see a guest worker program. I would also like all illegals to have car insurance, and have only one person per seat in a car. But I am totally sick of the ones I meet thinking they have a rihgt to be here and that they aren't breaking the law, WHEN THEY ARE! We also do not know if they have criminal records in their real country. And the way they constantly have multiple fake ID's with different names, who knows who they are in this country!  (Jul 20, 2007 | post #84935)

Lohan Surrenders to Police in May Crash

Was she also charged with underage consumption and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries? or did the Beverly Hills PD give her a pedicure after the booking?  (Jul 20, 2007 | post #1)
