2 held in Madison Co. pot-growing setup

Why is this story off the IndyStar frontpage? Is it because of the pro-legalization comments by the posters? I can't remember the last time I saw a story up at 4 am and then not up the next day (when the news and new and not in the paper the day before).  (Mar 19, 2008 | post #24)

Legalize and tax...if marijuana was legal it would do much less damage to society. All it does now is force a billion dollar drug industry underground for the criminals to profit from it. If you took away the billions used each year to stop it and put that towards education and health care. It can also be used in the medical field. At least decriminalize it...  (Mar 18, 2008 | post #18)

Final play negates IU comeback

How can DD be blamed? If KS hadn't put IU in this situation DD would still only be known for shutting down MJ. Gordon has been missing his 3's since his wrist was injured. If KS couldn't control his turnovers and bricked 3s after the injury, why would we expect DD to? Regardless, IU probably won't get out of the 2nd round (if they can even get there). Congrats to Minn for getting the kid that makes ridiculous shots (by the way ESPN says he is a righty, but he hit both of his famous shots shooting with his left).  (Mar 15, 2008 | post #8)

Unhappy fans stay away, attendance sinks to worst in NBA

Fair weather fan... Indiana loves our Pacers, we just need a new team mentality. They should hire me to come on board...I'm young and full of ideas for them.  (Mar 11, 2008 | post #16)

Sad, I'm an IUB student and was excited to move to Indy for next year. I have loved the Pacers since I can remember, but this is the first time I don't try to catch their games. I still watch them every once in a while (most in the first half of the season), but the Pacers just aren't the same team I grew up watching. I used to hate when people would be down on them (after the Palace), but it has progressively gotten worse since then. The disciplinary problems are ridiculous. Its one after another...come on, these guys make millions for being bad influences. Get them away. I'm glad attendance is down, the Pacers deserve it after the meltdown. Show me a decent team (when the top paid players actually play) and I might show up. Its really sad to watch my Hoosiers and Pacers...  (Mar 11, 2008 | post #13)

Ahlfeld is a senior night hit

It was a great senior night. Adam and DJ had some great speeches. When DJ hit that 3 before the half, the entire place when crazy.  (Mar 6, 2008 | post #2)

After 10 lean years, Jared's still phat

He was in B-town a couple of weeks ago. I bought him and shot and talked to him for a little bit. He had a lady friend hanging all over him throughout the night.  (Mar 2, 2008 | post #60)

Sampson needs to go

The crowd was not completely in support of Sampson. Each time a Kel-vin Samp-son chant broke out, we booed. It got heated in the last minute between Sampsonites and those intelligent enough to understand the situation. He is a great coach, but he cheated. He will suffer for his actions. I can only hope Greenspan goes with him. Go get Bruce Pearl!  (Feb 20, 2008 | post #23)
