Getting a ass kicking is NOT a big deal what so ever. The manner it is giving is the issue IMO. The same CO seen outside the prison walls would NOT have the same aggressive attitude. I bet your friend who, god forbid gets verbal death threats. Personal experience tells me your friend uses his 9 to 5 as his courage. In reality Having a badge,weapons and employees to back you up really gives one the fake heart to talk down to inmates. Im sure this section will not be a favorite. 65% of police officers when giving the question: Were you ever picked on or bullied as a kid answered YES. Becoming a police officer is their way of getting back at the bullies. Having a badge and a gun makes one feel invincible. Wouldn't you agree?  (Jun 21, 2009 | post #6)

Florida recently introduced a new policy. Maryland should follow suite Obviously this WILL NOT solve the issue but IMO will minimize the inhumane terrible crime. If you have been convicted of such a crime and want to have access to the internet, sex offenders MUST bring in their computer to the local state/federal authorities to have a tracking device installed to keep a close eye on what internet sites are being viewed by the creap sex offender! Do prisons prey on nonviolent inmates?

Maryland prisons are very dangerous- 90% of the time whites stick with whites,blacks with blacks,Mexican with Mexican etc: Prison inmates pray on any person who seems to be weak. A person can be sent to prison for a petty crime such as possession of a marijuana blunt and have no violent blood in his/her veins, That same person has a 60% chance of leaving prison affiliated with a violent gang. The same person, in prison might have been introduced to heroin or cocaine and now is committing much more serious crimes such as robbery,assault larceny etc, whatever it takes for this person has to do to get that fix or what the gang orders him to do will be done with-out thinking twice. I have a good friend also. Who was brutality beaten by Maryland DOC officers. Haven't Spoke to him in a few months and I really hope this is not his case. Those officers need to be punished!!
