Were you interviewed by the investigator? How do you know? Additionally, it was a settlement. As we know the settlement included a clause that ensured that both parties keep the contents of the settlement agreement confidential. THAT being said, the party being sued, by agreeing to the settlement does not confirm nor deny fault. Judgements are...SURPRISE...r endered by the judge, while a settlement is entered into voluntarily. "Andygate " ended because Andy Jay agreed to walk away-lucky for him he was offered a settlement because trial testimony would have gotten quite ugly and far too costly for him(professionally and financially  (Feb 22, 2013 | post #170)

Taking someone's life? Where on earth did that come from? If you want to name names start with your own, Jim. What is your interest in the district Jim? What makes your opinion more valid than the next? The Arbeitman matter is serious business and the injustices done within the De Soto School District are inexcusable. Fox School District employees are well aware of what De Soto has been through and are dreading what will inevitably come down the pipe with Arbeitman at the helm. I have yet to hear any legitimate arguments from you Jim; rather "attacks " on other's responses. I would say the majority of the posts in this thread are looking to shed some light on a very dark situation and make others aware, as well as promote the proper change required to prevent such a costly (both financial and academic) mistake in the future. Being a vocal and active advocate of local education is a noble endeavor. I'm going to refer to this incident as "Andygate " because it meets all of the criteria of corruption and beurocratic b.s. that bring districts to their knees. If there weren't graduate parents like 2012graduatemom speaking out about interactions with administrators, faculty members, as well as board members, "Andygate " would be deeper and darker than ever. Time when the district could have been focusing on improving education and future interests of the district was spent investigating a problem that could have been avoided. Education is the focus and Andy J made that his last priority causing the upheaval that has since ensued. You are correct, he is gone; but now, now the district must spend extra time picking up the pieces left in the wake of "Andygate ", thus taking even more time away from what is really important-educatio n. Hopefully, Stryhal will find a place with Arbeitman at Fox's expense because she too is a barrier to the education kids in the De Soto School District deserve. Education is not a trend or a chart. I believe that true educators find teaching to be a vocation rather than a job. Until someone with that same mindset achieves a voice in the district, De Soto will struggle to pull out of the dark shadows Mr. Arbeitman, Ms. Stryhal, and their minions have cast  (Feb 21, 2013 | post #163)

Why are you on here if you just want to tell commentators to "Give it A Break"? Did someone force you to read this thread? Obvioulsy you are still reading so it must be weighing on you as much as the others who have posted. This is where people come to vent, don't read if you don't want to be concerned with the topic.  (Jul 19, 2012 | post #126)

Your previous post just stated you were done with this conversation. You're still talking. The whole point of this forum is to remain anonymous and still be able to express your opinion-I like how you bombed on identifying "2012graduate mom". Also, your grammar is terrible and on top of your poor agruments making you sound ridiculous, your posts make you look ridiculous too.  (Jul 19, 2012 | post #125)
