I second this one...the only time i've had my cable turned off was thanks to Gustav and it took them a month to come and rehook me after all my neighbors were watching Who wants to be a millionaire. I've talked to their "customer service" people many times and only once were they courteous...the other times it was like I was bothering them. Next Sheriff Election

then don't read what I write it doesn't matter how you see me, really it doesn't I supported Bud last time around because PRS had so many issues that he had lost all effectiveness to be a leader...spin it any way you want, his issues overwhelmed him and that is why he lost the race. This time around, should he run and should his personal issues be behind him, he will probably win or come damn close. He may even get my vote... I just don't get into the election thing until the race is actually on - when it is on, I will most likely comment. I don't have anything personal in this one (like most on this thread) so I probably won't be all hot and heavy in it. Now, tell me, what am I instigating? I just made a couple of comments as to what I saw...how is that any worse than some of the stuff I've read on here? On this thread, there are more than enough accusation and heresay flying around to sink a boat - my little comments shouldn't piss anyone off - they are already pissed. My jockular attitude is not a defense, it is the way I am...I choose not to take everything so serious because 99% of what most folks think serious won't make a bit of difference in our lives. We all eat, have a place to live and a computer to slink around the internet on... We have enough stress all around us, it engulfs some people and drowns them...to each his own - I just choose not to worry about things I can't control. that being said, I won't bore you or stress you any more - I'm done commenting on this subject for now Ya'll have at it and enjoy!  (Tuesday Nov 17 | post #212)

hey guys...get to the concrete! show us the money! I take a lot of things serious...just not right now, before the election begins. This thread hasn't bored me...it has been quite entertaining! I actually enjoyed all the jousting going on...one of the benefits of a small town. I wish more Bud supporters would chime in! I can't wait until the actual election, good food, cold beer and old-fashioned politicing I understand that lots of folks are quite passionate about politics for their own reasons. I just haven't bet on a horse in this race yet and I may not until I get into the booth...time and info will tell. and Cross Cut, I am not a po-po anywhere..haven't been one since Lafayette 1989 and if poking thru the fence gets more info out, so be it. yall don't worry about me, I don't fight on the computer and I am waaaaaay too old to fight, my last fight was in Iraq, 1991.
