when??????

Actually, if you really think about it, the way he handled this and continues to handle this, is hurting him. Not only Obama. Hillary is the one that looked into the camera and told the American people a movie triggered the attack. What I don't understand is what was the logic or reasoning behind the cover up? Why didn't they come out and say this was a terrorist attack?  (Oct 22, 2012 | post #45)

Stop trashing the president

Romney is the first person running for President that had the guts to say we do not need to be dependent of foreign oil. Romney is a business man and knows how to design legislation to get the ball rolling. Right now we are at the mercy of OPEC. Why not threaten OPEC by producing our own crude with our own natural resources? Why not be in COMPETITION with OPEC? Competition drives down prices.  (Oct 19, 2012 | post #47)

I'm not an expert on the subject, but my friend in Texas is. According to him, there is plenty of oil here, and plenty of legislation blocking the harvesting and refining of that oil, both on shore and off shore. I don't trust people at the top when you see what has happened the last 8 years. Maybe Bush and Obama are in bed with OPEC. Why would we get involved in Iraq and Kuwait-which was purely for oil interests, when we could refine our own oil?  (Oct 19, 2012 | post #46)

The U.S. can't control OPEC. Why can't the U.S. develop it's own refineries? As Romney suggested, create millions of jobs in the energy field? A strive to make the U.S.self sufficient? Romney said we do not need to be dependent on foreign oil. If we have more oil than they do, why are we not refining it? We are dependent on OPEC by CHOICE! Millions out of work, and reliant on foreign oil, when the U.S.. at it's option, could create millions of jobs in the energy field and be self sufficient. As I said, I have a friend in the oil industry, in Houston. His job is finding oil for the oil companies to drill. He's constantly shut down because the oil is there, the gov't will not issue permits where he wants to drill. His biggest enemy in his job is the federal government. Incidentally, this person is originally from Dunkirk.  (Oct 19, 2012 | post #43)

I noticed you are posting from Florida. I have friends in Bradenton. The home they paid $250,000 for is worth $125,000 now. As a matter of fact, I think homes can be bought in the same neighborhood for under $100,000.  (Oct 18, 2012 | post #41)

If the Obama Administration is blocking the Canadian pipeline, declining drilling permits, etc. I would think that would definitely have something to do with fuel prices. Why is it that one of Romneys goals is making the U.S. self sufficient when it comes to fuel? Obviously, since the subject was brought up by Romney, there is a weakness in the way the Obama Admin. is handling this matter.  (Oct 18, 2012 | post #40)

Every time Obama says something I have to question it. I just feel like the guy lies. Here's an example. When Romney stated that gas was $1.89 a gal. when Obama went into office, and now it's over $4.00 a gal, Obama's immediate response was "that's when the economy was bad". Now wait. Low gas prices when the economy was bad? So, does that mean now that gas is $4.00+ a gal. the economy is good? Please convince me that response was not a lie.  (Oct 18, 2012 | post #37)

OBAMA 2016-the movie

some people work late. I just got in. I've read reviews of this movie and talked to friends that saw the movie. It has not been available in this area until 2 days ago-when Red Box released it. This movie was released as a documentary and has good reviews for content and accuracy. I would imagine the Obama administration would do anything to dis-credit it. You could be one of those people that are paid to throw it under the bus. That would be logical to me.  (Oct 18, 2012 | post #9)

I have a friend in Houston, TX. that is a geophysicist. His job is to find oil for the oil companies. He tells them where to drill-on shore and off shore. According to him,the U.S., Canada, and Alaska, have more oil combined than the middle east. His biggest challenge is when he finds oil, the gov't won't issue a permit to drill.  (Oct 18, 2012 | post #24)
