Did You Believe Michael Vick's 60 Minutes Interview?

By his own admission, Vick didn't feel any remorse until the door slammed behind him at Leavenworth. So this tells me he is only sorry he got caught. What's Your Take? http://www.inplaym php?blog=Detroit-L ions  (Aug 17, 2009 | post #1)

Preseason Game 1: Lions win Stafford’s debut

Head coach Jim Schwartz said he was impressed with the play and how Stafford bounced back... “The thing I liked about it is: he bounced back with an 80-yard touchdown drive and took a hit which you have to do in the NFL and made a perfect pass and Derrick (Williams) made a great catch,” Schwartz explained. “I liked that bounce back. Overall, Stafford said he was happy with his first NFL game experience. “It was a blast, it was fun out there,” Stafford said after the game. “I threw it around a little bit - I obviously don't want to throw anymore picks but we jumped back and had a touchdown there which helped us out." The other rookie making a big splash was RB Aaron Brown. The rookie out of TCU had two touchdowns – a 32-yard run and a 45-yard reception from Drew Stanton. His speed and athleticism were on display during both plays as he was able to turn it up field quickly and make defenders miss in space. Michael Vick Gets Second Chance, What About Rose And McLa...

Well if Michael Vick is entitled to a second chance after his conviction and incarceration at Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary, then I say it's high time to lift the ban on Pete Rose for the Baseball Hall of Fame and also give consideration to 1968 Detroit Tigers great 31-6 Denny McLain. While Rose was not incarcerated, his betting did take place while he was managing. As for McLain, his convictions took place after his playing days were over and had nothing to do with baseball. Both these guys hold Major League Baseball records, yet their names elude the Hall. LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR THOUGHTS http://inplaymagaz 009/08/michael-vic k-gets-second-chan ce-what.html  (Aug 14, 2009 | post #1)

Come On Guy...Let 'Em Pitch! By 31-6 Denny McLain Excerpt from blog... I was there, I never saw a pitcher with better stuff in my life than Mickey Lolich; each and every time that he went out! No one has “Lolich Stuff” on this staff, I promise you that for sure. I was always somewhat shocked when anyone scored on him! Mickey and I may not have been the best of pals (never were for some reason as only he would know) but folks when you see a great pitcher you know it. Can you imagine the Tiger pitchers in the sixties allowing the manager to remove them with a lead? Shucks, down right ridiculous! Even Jim Leyland would admit that in a NY second."
