Why are Turks hated so much?

The Macedonian Byzantine Catholic Church is a Byzantine Rite sui juris Eastern Catholic Church in full union with the Roman Catholic Church which uses the Macedonian language in the liturgy. The Macedonian Church consists of a single Apostolic Exarchate.[gci 1] An Apostolic Exarch was appointed for Macedonia as early as 1883 until 1922/1924[gci 2][cha 1] as part of the Bulgarian Greek Catholic Church.[1] After the end of World War I and the foundation of Yugoslavia, the Exarchate was absorbed into the Eparchy of Križevci. The Holy See has since 2001 appointed the Latin Bishops of Skopje as the Apostolic Exarch of Macedonia. [cnewa 1] The Catholic Church separated the Exarchate from the Byzantines of Križevci in 2008. [2] http://www.gcathol ic.org/dioceses/co untry/MK.htm http://www.mpc.org .mk/English/defaul t.asp The unity of the Local Churches and the universal (Catholic) Church is not some 'collective unity' (where the Local Churches would constitute 'parts' of a certain bigger 'unit' ), but it is graceful unity in identity, where all the Local episcopal Churches, in the Holy Eucharist, are identified with one another and with the Body of Christ, i.e. both with that original Apostolic Church in Jerusalem and with the eschatological Church of the Day without Evening of the Kingdom of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. His Beatitude Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia Stephen is the center of the catholic life and unity, just as in his local Church, the Diocese of Skopje, so also, as being the first in honor among the equal in the Holy Synod, in the entire Macedonian Orthodox Church – Archdiocese of Ohrid. He is the inevitable link in the chain of the catholic unity of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church .  (Aug 22, 2014 | post #53)

Turks - The Most Fanboy Nation in the World

http://peopleofar. wordpress.com/ http://www.topix.c om/world/turkey/20 14/08/lying-down-w ith-dogs German born Turkish Multi-award winning Director Fatih Akin has made a film surrounding the Armenian Genocide. The film is called “The Cut” and is coming out this fall. The film is made with a large budget and will premiere at the Venice Film Festival held from 27 August to 6 September. Regarding the subject Fatih remarked: “Turkey, of which I am a part of, is ready for this film“. Unfortunately not everyone is of the same opinion in Turkey and he received death threat on social media websites by Turkish ultranationalists. Through Twitter accounts for two magazines, ultranationalists said they would not allow Akın’s film to be shown in any cinema in Turkey, adding they were waiting for any attempt for a screening of the film with their “white berets.” They were referring to the beret worn by Ogün Samast, the murderer of the Turkish-Armenian journalist, Hrant Dink. Samast, who shot Dink dead in Istanbul in 2007, was hailed as a hero by ultranationalist circles. “The Cut” tells the story of an Armenian man, Nazareth Manoogian, who after surviving the Genocide learns that his twin daughters may be alive, and goes on a quest to find them. Nazareth’s journey takes him from his village Mardin to the deserts, to Cuba and finally North Dakota.  (Aug 22, 2014 | post #6)
