Gerrymandering keeps California politicians safe

Women plan topless protest in Key West

Wow, you have no idea what you are talking about. The National Guard does not carry AK-47s, they would have M-16's or M-4's. That alone calls in to question anything else you say about the matter.  (Sep 9, 2010 | post #6)

Gay Marriage - Denver, CO

Your god is a weak god. The Flying Spaghetti Monster shall smite him with his noodly appendages. Well with that being said. You are nuts man. Allowing gay people to marry would not "dictate our religious standards" it would only allow anyone regardless of gender to be married under civil authority. It would not force churches to marry anyone so you can keep on keeping on in your crazy tributes to your favorite invisible friend.  (Aug 16, 2010 | post #116)

Cancer expert questions Lockerbie bomber case

Any evidence to back up that claim or do you consider the lack of evidence to support your claim as being evidence of a huge seamless cover up? What's with so many people believing in crazy outlandish conspiracy theories on Topix?  (Aug 16, 2010 | post #4)

NATO says 3 more service members killed in southern Afgha...

Well they supported Al-Qaeda by giving them land in order to set of a training base and they offered the protection in their borders. It is funny that you are from a NATO country that has troops in Afghanistan, granted they don't really do anything, but still. I also did not see any of that hatred that you talk about when I was there working with the Afghan Army, Latvian troops, and British troops. Nor did I see that hatred when I was in Iraq working with the Iraqi Army and the Georgian Army. However you seemed to be blinded by hate so your thinking is probably clouded. Have a good day.  (Aug 9, 2010 | post #21)

Afghan Panel: Civilian Deaths Up In 2010

Well, first off I didn't say a thing about Iraq. I don't particularly agree with the reasoning for going there my self. Now lets see, Israel, Why should we attack them exactly? As for Japan in WWII if you didn't know they did attack the U.S. at Pearl Harbor, invade the Aleutian Islands, and bombed U.S. main land with balloons. Bombing them with the nukes most likely save millions of lives on both sides. Yes we fought the Germans as well, who had launched aggressive attacks on all of Europe. As for Afghanistan the Taliban who controled the country aided ans supported Al Qaeda who flew two jets in to the twin towers, one in to the Pentagon, and failed with the fourth. They opened them selves up with that attack to become ligitamate targets of an attack. That is why we are in Afghanistan. The difference between what the Taliban do is that they will kill everyone that does not believe what they want them to and use their religion as a justification. We on the other hand do not target civilians. When the Taliban fight from a population center they do it to use the civilians as shields or in hopes that civilian casualties will cause bad feelings towards the NATO troops. I have one question for you, if you hate the U.S. and "American styled government" so much (as it seems you do from your post) why are you living in this country?  (Aug 9, 2010 | post #15)

NATO says 3 more service members killed in southern Afgha...

While the Taliban them selves did not attack the U.S. however they supported the people that did and allowed them to use their country. That being said, it is good they we went after the group responsible and the not individuals' countries of origin. As for them not being foreign, sure not all of them, but there are a large amount of foreign fighters there helping the Taliban. While I was there there was a pretty good Chechen sniper working for the Taliban.  (Aug 8, 2010 | post #19)

Afghan Panel: Civilian Deaths Up In 2010

That may be your point of view. However I would like to point out a few things. You point to Japan and Germany, so I'm assuming you are talking about WWII. Japan attacked the U.S. as for Germany we were aiding our allies who were being attacked. So, I don't know what you mean by bringing them up. Also I'd like to ask you why it is that most western European countries can get by with the little the spend on defense? If you look at it in an honest fashion you will see that they are part of NATO and expect that if attacked the U.S. will help them. All I ask is that you not let your blind hatred cloud your thinking.  (Aug 8, 2010 | post #12)

Afghan Panel: Civilian Deaths Up In 2010

Part of the problem with that idea is, that is one of the big reasons we are there right now. After the soviets left the country we ignored it completely. If we had at that time aided them in building a country we most likely would not be there now. Leaving now would simply allow the Taliban to gain power again. Things are not always as simple as they appear at first.  (Aug 8, 2010 | post #11)

Pimps force Mexican women into prostitution in US

Funny how you don't mention the Mexican men that are the pimps and force the women in to slavery. Now why is that? Nor do you say anything about the woman who was forced to work in Mexico City. Blame the U.S. for all problems if you must, but all it does is show how you let your personal bias interfere with your critical thinking. The problem with prostitution is the same as with drugs. When you make something people want illegal it will create a black market for it. That market by virtue of being a black market makes cuts all the people that work in it out of the legal justice system. If it were legal the women who make the choice to be prostitutes would have the protection of the law and the pimps would go out of business.  (Aug 8, 2010 | post #5)

Rep. Waters denies ethics violations in bailout

The biggest problem that I see here and will all ethics charges in congress is that they are not criminal charges. The are charged with violating Congressional ethics rules, not criminal laws. That needs to be changed.  (Aug 8, 2010 | post #17)
