DAR-Healine TRCC RIFT

Here we go again. Is that college ever going to get it together? A lack of communication between TRCC and self-regulated foundation. Dr. Cooper has been dismissed. The Power to borrow money on a building was not giving to the college. Joe Rozman been left out in the cold. No one likes his GOOD Old BOYS system and now he's crying!! Doc. Veil of First Bapt. Church says, I haven't been involved. I hope Dr. Stephenson can help..  (Jul 16, 2009 | post #1)

divorced and gets nothing after 28 years

Lets open YOUR eyes!! I have seen and heard alot over the years. Both Men and Women getting the raw end of the deal when it comes to divorce but most important the CHILDREN get it worse. I however agree that I also find it hard to understand and believe that she walked away with nothing, unless she may have signed an agreement prior to the marriage. Every state have laws that are different but when it comes down to it, the children REGUARDLESS of who receives custody (Question? Are these HIS children?) will receive some type of support. Would you agree? Most states also have a law called "CO-Mingled " which means what all the money or assest that is joined together shall be split 50/50. (Excluding Inheritance) Most states also have laws regarding the lenght of marriage, what the roles where in the marriage, did she stay home and raise the children and so on. So many factors take part, are not adding up to me, and yes I am a women. As a women with a loving husband, I have to say and agree with you somewhat. I have seen some of the best women lose to the good old boys systems, but also a few excellant dad's who got bent over big time. I have a friend who stayed very faithful to her husband even after he admitted to many affairs, beat her, degraded her and etc. She was married to a military office for 16 years, had 3 children that she raised, and fought a serious battle of many health issues, and got shafted by a judge who believe that women who divorce their husband regardless for what the reasons are do not deserve anything. Her attorney contacted their Senator and the judge was thrown from the bench. How sad for him, but she was vindicated after 6 long hard years of court. So don't make yourself sound like you hate all women, even if you do, because NOT ALL WOMEN are deserving of that.  (Jul 16, 2009 | post #23)

children who go without!!!

I can see the angry with you on this issue also. You are correct on some of the parnets (or so-called parnets. I was angry myself but now that they are here with us for the summer, I will try to make them feel that someone does love them enough to spend quality time with them, and listen when THEY need to vent. Life is hard for everyone including the children and I will try to ease the pain as much as I can, but I have to do it without the children knowing how pissed off I am at their parnets.  (Jun 1, 2009 | post #10)

Veg. Garden

Has anyone ever grown broccli? I have a large garden this year and thought I would grow broccli but information I was given doesn't seem correct. I am not sure if the rain had an effect on it or not, it looks healthy, but now they have yellow flowers that grew from the center of the broccli head then over the yellow flowers the broccle head came back, just smaller. Any advice out their?  (Jun 1, 2009 | post #1)

children who go without!!!

Thank you! These are NOT my kids!! My kids are all grown and doing very well for themselves because I brought my children up to have respect for themselves and when the time does come when they decide to marry or to have children, to make sure that they can support them. You totally amaze me with your comments. You speak before turly understanding the situation. Did your parnets not teach you well!!! Passing judgement only makes you look like a fool. I have no problem helping those (Adults) who help themselves. All children have a very special place in my heart. They were not asked before being brought into this cruel and hateful world. I just wish those who have children, planned or not, at the least TRY to take care of them. I have 4 siblings, and 3 of the 5 do well for ourselves, but the other 2 played but still don't want to pay. Why should the family have to support the other 2 siblings when both are capable but REFUSE. Manipulation is what this all about. My BROTHER AND HIS WIFE, knows where my heart is when it comes to children, and that's why he dropped them off. So if someone needs a stick up their ass, it would be YOUUUU!! This issue is not about warfare or anything like that, it's about children going without while mom and dad party it up!!  (Jun 1, 2009 | post #8)

Is there a location that will be kept up and not overgrown? I don't really care to Current River, to many boats who don't really watch out for the kids!  (Jun 1, 2009 | post #3)
