The article says: "All of us, particularly in New York, rely on undocumented workers and we really never think about what it took for them to get here and what it meant for them to come here," says Plesent. "I feel like they are the invisible workers in our lives." Shame on New York, then, for being a sanctuary state and permitting the illegal employ of illegal aliens. The laws of the USA are quite clear. Trying to romanticize people who plot and conspire to break US laws for monetary gain is ludicrous. Aiding and abetting illegals in any way is a felony. I sincerely hope one of the play's dialog lines is something along the line of: "Gee Rosa, we should have used the thousands of dollars we paid for this trip to make our lives better back in Mexico. First, illegal aliens are not honest people. They came here against all US laws. They stay when their visas expire and are required to go back to their own countries. They continue to work here against US laws. They are NOT honest people. Second, illegal aliens have NO immigration status - they have only criminal status under US laws. Only legal immigrants have immigration status. When a legal immigrant's visa expires and they remain in the USA, they become illegal aliens under our laws. Trust that illegal aliens will not cure any social problems in the USA concerning families. Every day there are articles in newspapers across the USA that describe horrible familial abuse going on in illegal alien families. They are NOT the cream of any foreign country's crop, nor are they the brightest or the morally superior of their own cultures. That's why they come here illegally - they don't qualify for legal entry into the USA. Most of them are of their country's cast-off, lower class who are unemployable or criminal, and can't earn a living in their own countries no matter what the economy.  (Apr 12, 2013 | post #8)

ALL illegal aliens should be deported. Every last one of them, Mexicans included. I don't care how long they've remained hidden from US law enforcement. Send them back to their own countries. Criminal activity should NEVER be rewarded with what the criminal conspired to steal. Without law and order, we are a third-world country. Without law-abiding leadership in Washington, we are a third-world country. Please. There is evidence that an earlier culture lived in North America before the Asian migration. North America was attached to Europe millenia before that, so it's possible that early humans in North America did, indeed, originate on the European continent. Slow continental drift, lower sea levels during the Ice Ages, and island chains in the Atlantic would have made it entirely possible for early man to continue migrating to the Western Hemisphere. Nordics were in North America 500 years before Columbus because of the close proximity of their homeland with Iceland and Greenland. THOSE were MY ancestors. They didn't sacrifice their babies to rain gods, either. Nevertheless, none of that makes any difference. The sovereign USA belongs to citizens of the USA, not to citizens of any other country. It matters not what heritage those aliens are. They have no claim on the USA in any way, shape, or form, or by any warped logic applied to gain something for nothing that other people have built and earned.  (Aug 21, 2012 | post #194)

FO, Rosie. I see you still haven't a clue. Almost everyone knows about paid posters on internet boards. Yes, I see lots of racists on Topix, most of them illegal aliens and their supporters. You can tell them from the paid posters because the paid posters are at least somewhat literate. Their hatred for the white majority is boundless. Get back with us after you've researched the subject of propaganda and think tanks and have become humbled. Otherwise, all you have is ad hominem invective to spew. Please - you can't judge a nation on what you see on these threads. Don't you know that there are people who are paid to troll boards like this one to foment racial and political tension? The people in power in Washington own billion-dollar think tanks that hire posters to do nothing else but cause unrest and solicit angry comments that might be considered racist by the less intellectual among us. These think tanks were set up to study the population and control it with propaganda and advertising in newspapers, magazines, movies, advertisements, etc. Propaganda use by governments is nothing new, but the people of the USA are being assulted from every quarter with it to gain fascists control of us in every way possible. Now that the major media are owned by those same people of power, we see only what they want us to see in the press. Get a clue. Racism isn't the issue - the survival of our country is the crucial, more important issue. The fascists want to divide us - divide and conquer. Old war strategy that still works. BTW, Obama is half black, half white. Racism isn't the problem with him - his Marxist upbringing and belief systems are. Being a Marxist, Obama has no love for blacks or whites. He has love only for an ideology that will subject every man, woman and child in the USA to a form of slavery ruled over by powerful, wealthy people. That these powerful people are fascists doesn't matter to Obama at all. He's doing as he is paid by them to do. It matters not that in working for them he betrays his Marxist ideology. Being president of the most powerful country in the world, even as a figurehead, was potent, heady temptation for him. They probably promised him entry into their private, bloodlined club. Well, oh holy one, next time you create a world, leave out the human nature and make all your creatures widdle brown people who will do exactly as you tell them. LOL! Suck it up. People have a right to make their countries the way they want to make them, and that includes the racial makeup of it. It isn't ignorance that won't accept you and yours - it's the knowledge of how you will f*** up any place you squat. Look at Mexico - it wants a brown, lawless, violent hellhole, and that's what Mexicans made. Now they want to spread their joy to the USA and Canada and crap up the entire North American continent. His comment betrays his ignorance of both the present USA and historical Nazi Germany. In Nazi Germany, people had no voice, no rights. What they got they were given by the state. They were punished or killed for speaking out against the government. The Nazi state chose to elevate certain genetic heritage as proper and superior. Anyone not of that heritage was condemned one way or another. In the USA, 80% of citizens want illegal aliens removed from our country for reasons of safety, economics, national and state sovereignty, criminal justice, and adherence to our sovereign laws enacted by our elected representatives in Congress. The USA is the most racially and ethnically diverse country in the world. Juan P is quite ignorant and quite unjustifiably arrogant in his assumption that US citizens concerned by the lawless, criminal nature of illegal aliens are somehow racists or xenophobes. Yes, we should all rejoice in having the USA turn into another disgusting hellhole like Mexico. Mexicans profess to want 'better lives for their families' yet turn wherever they squat into the same dump they escaped from in Mexico. Where's the 'brilliance' in that? The only thing they've gained in invading the USA is decent sewer systems and real flush toilets. Duh. They must really love their criminal Mexican society to so eagerly reproduce it on foreign soil.
