Wow you know more about the racing tire business than a form silver crown, IRL, Nascar champion who has raced on all of the tires? I mean Tony only owns race teams and has negoitated with the different series and suppliers. You get to see them on TV and from 1000 feet away or more at races. Damn your good!  (Mar 14, 2008 | post #19)

Carson wins seat in 7th District race

Not a little. The current districts were not drawn THIS year. They were drawn by the republican controlled legislature, as I stated, and I can't look foolish as long as we have people like you to compare to.  (Mar 14, 2008 | post #543)

First of all gerrymandering is controlled by the party in control so please talk to your man Mitch and his co-horts in the assembly if you do not like how the 7th is drawn. Second, when then Mayor Lugar lead our city into Uni-Gov that took the city elections to include the county which started domination of the whole county by Republican control until recently when the white flight that continued into the surrounding counties. So republicans in our state are well aware on how to shut demos out of office. How much of a chance does a Black Democrat have against Dan Burton?  (Mar 13, 2008 | post #526)

actually if you check the congresional record you will find right up to the time she began missing votes when she was terminal with cancer, she was above average for the Indiana reps......None of the reps from either party were 100% for the same time period that Julia served and several were below her total.  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #176)

Secret as in a republican and democratic pole worker in the same car drove the ballots to the convention center attached to the dome that the world champion colts play at which was open to the public with this information being broadcasted over local media. What is your defitnition of public?  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #173)

members of congress qualify for the same retirement plan that postal workers and other government workers qualify for. This idea that they are set for life on a government pension just because they are elected if false. Go to USA.gov or any other us gov web site that deals with these issues and search for congressional pension.  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #263)

500 shuttle service doable, bus operators say

So a privatized company like Indy Go cannot use public busses to move people from a public airport to a legendary event that pumps millions upon millions of dollars into our economy because they all of a sudden cannot compete with private companies? Someone made some money in a backroom.....  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #6)

Are you one of those Idiots in the 5th that elected the guy who tried to prove a murder by shooting a watermellon in his backyard? The same guy that keeps getting re-elected after calling President Clinton a scum-bag for cheating on his wife while the rep from the 5th was knocking out children with his girlfriends behind his own wifes back? Congressman Andre is of the people like his grandmother. Not too many other members of Congress can make the same claim.  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #158)

I did not realize that slavery and denying women the right to vote along with the genocide of Native Americans were Christian principals. I guess they would be compared to the Christians invading the Holy Land to wipe out the Muslims or more recently in the 1860's through the 1960's Baptist Churches allowing a terrorist organization, the Ku Klux Klan, to meet in their churches. Religion has turned more people away from God than anything else I can think of.  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #150)

Scott leaves Colts, joins Titans

I for one would rather have Marvin with his class and leadership by example than the arrest record that would come with Moss. Bill Polian has a remarkable record of picking the right people and letting others go when they can no longer be afforded. I got a feeling this next season we are going to see Marvin come back with a vengance from his injury and I will not be surpised to see a brand spanking new guard to step up after losing Scott. GO COLTS!  (Mar 11, 2008 | post #13)

Mellencamp: Hoosier musician now Rock Hall of Famer

Right on. Same thing to Tobey Keith singing his pro war songs. Charlton Heston should of kept his mouth shut as well with his support of the NRA and kept making the monkey movies.  (Mar 11, 2008 | post #8)

Tantrum follows loss

It just never ends. Time to start all over with a clean slate. As much as I loved watching Larry the Legend play, perhaps its time to fire and hire a GM who can control his team.  (Mar 7, 2008 | post #120)
