If you went not knowing that it was going to happen and went with it out of confusion then I suppose you are not a bad person, you just made a human error in judgement, kind of like when a person sleeps with someone they would never consider the day they breakup because they feel terrible. That said, if you went knowing it was going to happen and decided to go through it anyway, then in some way you could be considered a person of low self esteem and moral compass, but not a bad person. My advice would be to talk it through with a loved one or someone you care about, this is not something you internalize... that is not healthy. If you ever feel unsure in situations like these again, ask yourself "If I were running for public office, would the public be happy about my decision in this case?". Works every time. Being an Atheist, seeing religious ads don't bother me at all. The ad isn't really too pushy and I think it's ok regarding the religious aspect of it. I think a pregnant woman should consider adoption so that another family could love her child in a way she feels she would never be able to. That being said... I am a man who never will experience child birth, so I concede to the fact that I will have little input when it comes to telling a woman what to do with her body. Abortion is a right and should always be an available, but please... do consider your options, for you have more than just one. (Jan 18, 2012 | post #261)
Well congrats to the woman and hope they live good lives. (Jan 17, 2012 | post #5)
The two film had different interpretations of Batman and Gotham, and of course, the Joker. I feel that that Jack Nicholson's Joker felt right for the super stylized and slightly campy Gotham being the realization of Tim Burton. Obviously, the Nolan films of today are reaching for realism and really stick to the dark roots and influence of the comic books. Ledger's acting gave off both the comical nature of the Joker and his disturbing tendency to make violence into a laughing matter which for some reason felt right at home in Nolan's Gotham. They are both fantastically realized in both films and deserve credit and praise. (Jan 17, 2012 | post #58)
Sayings from retail workers do not define Christmas. Don't be so petty and pretentious as to be offended by a person someone who took the time to say something nice to you and even went as far as to be courteous regarding your religion. (Jan 17, 2012 | post #7)
