Where have you found order? Take this planet, for instance. Ice in some places, desert in others, massive tectonic plates of earth grinding and pounding one another, volcanoes spewing ash and molten rock into the air, storms wiping away entire cities. And the universe??? My goodness, lethal radiation everywhere, stars exploding, entire galaxies plowing through one another like pinwheeling saw blades, black holes swallowing everything within distance...sounds pretty "banged out" to me. Chronicles Of Narnia VS Harry Potter
That is actually a tough question, it probably comes down to the type of thinking one prefers to do. Narnia stuck me as being the fairly yin-yang stories, as in; good guys over here, bad guys over there, and no ever mistaking the two. Harry Potter, as the series progressed, got deeply into subterfuge, intrigue and betrayal, and THEN the good guy-bad guy butt whupping. So, I'll pick Harry Potter. A truly excellent post DOC. To be honest, I expected you to receive a great deal more flack over it than you have. You appear to have struck a chord with nearly everyone. My story isn't nearly so complex. I was merely raised without any religious upbringing at all, and told to figure it out when I was old enough.
