Kathleen is great. Very knowledgeable and nice. I have been in there a few times and very pleased. I do not find her to be pushy at all. (Nov 23, 2009 | post #12)
School Rezoning Proposal Causes Upset Parents
What is the rezoning all about anyway? Is it only affecting Thompson's Station? Ive seen the sign in Crowne Point saying something about it. (Nov 23, 2009 | post #4)

Up and coming in Spring Hill.... shops, businesses, restaurants, etc.
Joey's is located at Mclemore and Highway 31, just next to Sherwin Williams Paint and south of Utopia Coffee. It's basically right off of 31 in the 'heart' of Spring Hill but is kind of easy to miss. It is pretty good. (Nov 23, 2009 | post #544)
Two Maury County Companies To Hand Out Pink Slips
So sad, but sooo funny. You are right though, this reporter looks like a total moron for missing that. And what about the EDITOR??? (Oct 12, 2009 | post #2)
Spring Hill man charged in armed road rage incident
Mexican Hillbilly, you sir are a genius. Very good points made. However I have to say, on your comment about pausing at the green light: I paused at a green light one day and I am glad I did at this particular time (before that I typically did not). I was at the intersection of Kedron and Hwy 31 in Spring Hill, aiming to cross 31 and go towards the Library/Pancho's Place/etc. Some jackass plowed through the red light, going north on 31. Had I went through that light I would have been in a world of sh!t. They ran the bejeez out of that red light, so I am glad I hesitated. So now I consider this when going through intersections. But I agree, TN has many drivers that SHOULD be shot. I wish we could have paintball guns mounted on the front of our vehicles. That way you could shoot to your hearts content at people and not do any true damage, but the amount of paint on their vehicle would show how bad they are as a driver. (Oct 12, 2009 | post #8)
Upside down American flag on house - Port Royal Rd
I could put them in the grass on the sidewalk in front of the house. ALL in front of the house and on the side that faces Port Royal Rd. The city owns this land, not him. Just so you know... (Sep 21, 2009 | post #111)
I bet the aliens that took over your body years ago made you say that. (Aug 18, 2009 | post #7)
INteresting. I used to live in one of the adjacent subdivisions that back up to Rutherford Creek. I walked through it as well and actually decorated around my mailbox with some of the rocks from the creek. I didnt notice anything 'unusual' or spooky, other than the fact that it was quiet and peaceful. Come to think of it I am kind of purturbed that no ghosts came out to bother me! :) If anything, that creek is haunted...with ticks. I was there in July and there were plenty of ticks to go around. But Jack, keep searching. Spring Hill has a pretty rich Civil War history so there have got to be some good haunting stories. (Aug 11, 2009 | post #3)
Upside down American flag on house - Port Royal Rd
Check my *first* entry to this topic (note that I am the one who started the topic. Not much gets by you, does it?) That is where I state: "As a fellow veteran (Army), I am surprised this person is showing our National Colors this way. I am thinking it is a protest of some sort, but they should know better." Oh and go ahead and checkout my post from June 24 as well, where I respond to a US Marine currently serving: "Thank you for your service. I salute all members of the military, past present and future, and I know quite well what you are going through. I hope you make it back soon. Feel free to go talk to your fellow comrade when you return home. I am sure you can figure out where this person lives. " I am bashing this so called serviceman for his display of our Nation's symbol AND the fact that he is a prior service member. I understand prior members' angst in how the country is right now but there are other, better ways to display frustrationAnnoyed in Wades Grove, you are a whiny little b!tch. And a coward. Why dont you scream on message boards a little more? I proudly served in the U.S. Army 4 years, I believe I have every right to call this guy anything I desire. Bottom line is, some of you think we are in 'distress.' If you want to see a country in distress, take a look back to the US circa 1918 when our country faced a horrid case of Influenza that killed thousands. Or the Great Depression. Dust Bowl. The Great Potato Famine. How about take a look to impoverished 3rd world countries who have nothing to eat but dirt and flies. THERE is your example of a poor Government. Distress, TRUE distress, lies within. Here is a challenge to all of you with your US flags upside down. Grab your nuts, stand in front of City Hall or better yet, on the steps of the State Capitol and BURN the US flag. Thats right. Just hanging them upside down isn't doing enough. Make a STATEMENT! Burglars flee Kohl's after failing to crack safe
There isn't. Move along, nothing to see here :) Seriously, this is crazy. I hope they catch the b@stards. (Aug 10, 2009 | post #3)
Also, if and when you get pulled over by cops: pull over, put vehicle in park, jump out screaming "Bees! Bees!" frantically. The cops will not want to get stung by bees and will back away. As for the parked cop cars such as the one off at the park located near the Mach Hatcher/US 31 intersection (across from Target, Chili's and behind TSC) or the one at the old Hollywood video store in Franklin: I MUCH prefer them to be unmanned when I slip by going a few miles over the limit. Because then they cant get me! Seriously, I like the idea of these cars sitting out. Otherwise they are just in the Motor Pool doing nothing. Might as well put them around the city as a reminder to check your speed (or crystal meth or illegal texting or child beating you are doing while in your vehicle). (Jul 31, 2009 | post #69)
Upside down American flag on house - Port Royal Rd
The funny thing is, this homeowner has at least one other flag around his house that is upright. Why doesnt he turn it updside down? Plus there are the red white and blue banners on his porch rail. Shouldnt they be upside down too? (Jul 20, 2009 | post #60)
Spring Hill Trees Felled By Sunday Storm
Just means they fell :) Seriously, if a lumberjack or in this case a tornado knocks trees down, they have been "felled" . Not something you hear everyday! (Jul 20, 2009 | post #3)
Up and coming in Spring Hill.... shops, businesses, restaurants, etc.
Very true. I think I am exactly in the middle of both Kroger's, but I do prefer the Marketplace one. Yes, I realize it is helping TS, but whatever, I like TS as well. (Jul 20, 2009 | post #503)
