Slammed Tulsa International Airport Officials Warn: Arriv...

Good news for TUL! Combine this with the news that United is going to start a non-stop direct flight to Washington D.C. in 2011, things might just be starting to look up!  (Oct 21, 2010 | post #1)

Agreed. Great job by Emory. A journalist that loves aviation and actually does have some flight time under his belt.  (Sep 30, 2010 | post #7)

Then you are still wrong. That was a CJ3, not a CJ1. It was also on the ground 90 minutes before this incident. That aircraft landed at 1:36. EJA986 landed at 2:55.  (Jun 3, 2010 | post #8)

Main Runway At Tulsa Airport Closed Temporarily

Oh...forgot to mention that I saw the SkyCam when it was being moved off of the runway and that picture was much bigger and the paint scheme appeared to match that of N986QS. However, I could still be wrong.  (Jun 3, 2010 | post #6)

Never said I was right. However, the engines are bigger in comparison to the fuselage than a CJ1. Also, EJA986 landed at TUL about the time it happened. How can you look at the picture and say it was a CJ1?  (Jun 3, 2010 | post #5)

Looks like it is a Cessna Citation X (N986QS) flying as EJA986 (Netjets Aviation, "Execjet ") that came in from Jackson Hole, WY. http://flightaware .com/live/flight/E JA986/history/2010 0603/1806Z/KJAC/KT UL  (Jun 3, 2010 | post #1)

Actually, I THINK it is against his estate, which would take anything of value he had and give it to the family of the girl. Not 100% sure though. I have read/heard both.  (Apr 13, 2010 | post #12)

Agree Dub, except I hope they win the lawsuit against the guy's family, NOT against the aircraft manufacturer, since they did nothing wrong.  (Apr 13, 2010 | post #3)
