Barack Obama

Palin lacks education, experience

Obama was simply an intenured lecturer, probably hired to increase U. of Chicago's diversity quotient. He was not the editor of the law review, but the president, probably elected to increase the diversity on the law review. He may have held various apparently prestigious positions, but never accomplished anything of any consequence or we certainly would have heard about it. He is the Peter Principle in motion. However, I'm not about to help him rise to the level of his incompetence.  (Sep 5, 2008 | post #55)

Obama: McCain's not feeling your pain

Is it just me? or is Obama starting to come off as a big p#ssy? He thought he had it all wrapped up. And now that he might have to fight for the most powerful position in the world, he doesn't seem to have a clue.  (Sep 5, 2008 | post #29)

Barack Obama

Palin lacks education, experience

The truth is, Obama spent his high school years getting high (by his own admission), went to a small California College for two years and then somehow got accepted into Columbia, then on to Harvard. If you think he got into Columbia and Harvard because of his scholarship, you're kidding yourself. We know why he got there, but no one wants to admit it. It's the same reason he got nominated, but no one wants to admit it.  (Sep 5, 2008 | post #20)

2008 Presidential Election

McCain picks Palin as running mate

You and the rest of the liberal morons should try to explain to us what experience makes Obama qualified but Palin not. Maybe you liberal loons will just have to admit that you'll buy into sexism if you can get an African-America elected.  (Aug 29, 2008 | post #542)

2008 Presidential Election

Who is Sarah Palin? Who is Barack Obama?

What's your point? Palin actually ran an enterprise, a town and a state. What's on Obama's resume, "Community organizer"? And we don't even know what he did as a community organizer. In fact, I know more about palin's background from one speech than I know about Obama after his two years of campaigning. It must hurt you libs to have such a flaccid candidate.  (Aug 29, 2008 | post #12)

2008 Presidential Election

McCain picks Palin as running mate

It's good to see sexism is still alive and well in the democratic party. No one questyioned John kennedy's run for the presidency when he had two small children.  (Aug 29, 2008 | post #170)

2008 Presidential Election

McCain picks Palin as running mate

Her experience as a mayor of a small town (and governor of a state), dwarfs Obama's experience as a "community organizer" and almost 4 years a a U.S. Senator, most of which has been spent running for President.  (Aug 29, 2008 | post #127)

Barack Obama

Is Obama qualified?

It occurred to me that, although I ran a small business for 10 years and practiced law for 20, I would have no idea how to run a local Wal-Mart store. What makes the former "community activist" and state senator think he can run the largest organization in the world, other than simple hubris?  (Aug 28, 2008 | post #1)

Al Gore's Challenge

And never mind all the jobs drilling and refining U.S. oil would create. And tell me, where do we get the power whent he sun goes down? Answer, from some other source, fossil fuels or nuclear.  (Aug 8, 2008 | post #137)

Study: Avoiding Damage from Ocean Acidification May Require Dee...

"Writing in the 4 July issue of the journal Science, a team of researchers led by Richard Zeebe of the University of Hawai’i at Manoa warns that the ecological and economic consequences of ocean acidification are difficult to predict but possibly calamitous, and that halting the changes already underway will likely require even steeper cuts in carbon emissions than those currently proposed to curb climate change." "possibly calamitous" "likely require" So let's completely reorganize civilization based on this "study."  (Aug 5, 2008 | post #5)

Obama agrees to 3 debates with McCain

The more I hear Obama, the less I buy the hype that he is brilliant. Could it be that he got into Columbia and Harvard for something other than his intellectual and academic ability?  (Aug 4, 2008 | post #43)

Gore: Carbon-free electricity in 10 years doable

Actually, it's not the water that produces thwe energy, its the kinetic energy in the water as a result of its moving from a higher level to a lower level. But, of course, you knew that. It's like saying you can get energy out of air because air turns a windmill. Try to generate electricity from a glass of water.  (Aug 4, 2008 | post #24)

Arctic drilling a bad idea

Every study I've seen says it will take years to build the infrastructure for alternative energy. How do we keep the lights on at night when the sun goes down? Big batteries? We'll need oil for the foreseeable future in some amount. Why not produce it here? Use our manpower? Kepp the dollars here?  (Aug 1, 2008 | post #21)
