Food Poisoning

Sick from undercooked salmon - what should I do?

My wife and I had wild sockeye salmon yesterday. The salmon was from Trader Joe's, and says "previously frozen" on the package. We cooked it at home, and my piece was a little thicker than hers and not quite cooked all the way through. She felt fine after, but I was sick immediately with GI trouble all last night. No vomiting, but lots coming out the other end, including some blood. I'm feeling a bit better now (16 hours later), although still a bit crampy. Was able to eat a bowl of cereal about an hour ago. I'm concerned about tapeworm. Anyone have any advice?  (Oct 19, 2012 | post #1)
