Police: Father arrested for injuring 11-month-old daughter

So far I haven't suffered any ill effects from the meds. If I talk about the fighting very much I will start to have dreams about it. One really nasty dream occurres over and over. A couple ouences of good scotch before bedtime helps a lot.........  (Mar 9, 2013 | post #6)

Police: Father arrested for injuring 11-month-old daughter

Some people deal with it better than others. They gave us all kinds of shots and drugs while we were over there. I probably won't last very long.....  (Mar 9, 2013 | post #4)

the round table

My dog was a 120 lb, seven year old German Shepard. He was fine Saturday, stopped eating Sunday and couldn't get up Monday. I took him to two vets and spent enough to buy a small motorcycle trying to save him. This is a picture of him but you won't be able to see it for a while.......  (Nov 23, 2012 | post #1932)

Big cats

These are strange times. I am hearing stories of ghosts and UFOs. I wonder if the wall between dimensions is breaking down ? Have you seen the movie The Mist ???? Strange times in deed. I got squirrels biting the heads off birds in my back yard. I called fish and wildlife and they said, it does happen......  (Oct 26, 2012 | post #20)

Big cats

I saw your post. That girl in Indiana said she saw the cat beside the road late at night as she was driving home. She was a pretty level headed girl not prone to tell wild stories. I really wanted to go over there and look around. I hoped to find tracks or something. But she never mentioned it again.....  (Oct 26, 2012 | post #18)

Big cats

A few years ago a woman from work told me about a cat as large as a lion visiting her property in Southern Indiana. She had horses and was concerned for them. I told her I would bring my rifle over and look around if she wished. I guess it went away she didn't say anything else.  (Oct 25, 2012 | post #10)

for you SCARECROW

My story, I joined the Marine Corps Reserve right out of high school. I was going to be a cop like the rest of my family. I was a probationary officer when I was called up for Desert Shield/Storm. After that I came home and resumed my career as a police officer. Then 9/11 and I was called up for Afghanistan. This was when I decided I was a Marine not a cop. I did another tour in Afghanistan and then in Iraq in 2004. After Fallujah, I had enough and retired in 2005. Now I work occasional security jobs. As I look back over my life, I realize that had I made different choices, I could have avoided a lot of pain both mental and physical. That's all I way trying to say....... A person does what he does then you have to live with it.......  (Oct 22, 2012 | post #19)

Drinking Game

That's a tough business. I have relatives in that line of work. One of them got drunk on my Russian vodka 2 Thanksgivings back. She cried for about three hours. One of my cousins a Metro cop threatened to throw her stupid behind in jail. That just made her cry more. There are usually a half dozen cops at those holiday celebrations and funerals. The more they drink the wilder their stories become.  (Oct 15, 2012 | post #19)

I have family back that way. In times past they made whiskey mostly at night, in the light of the moon.  (Oct 15, 2012 | post #76)
