Waycross plans to make city wireless

Nothing is ever free but y'all know that. Everybody in Waycross, and possibly Ware County, will pay for it even if they don't use it. Other cities have tried this and it's been a big flop. Someone in the area is probably getting kickback from this latest scheme.  (Dec 30, 2007 | post #3)

Cancer

Marijuana May Inhibit Invasive Cancer Cell Growth

Are you for real?? ::heavy sigh:: Jesus does not want anyone to have cancer. Satan does not grow marijuana. Satan can not create. Only the Creator (God) can create.  (Dec 29, 2007 | post #257)

US Politics

Critics jump on Huckabee Pakistan gaffe

The current President always reaps what the previous Administration sowed. The current economy is the result of eight years of 'Billery' debauchery. History proves this over and over.  (Dec 29, 2007 | post #189)

Should adoptees have access to birth records?

The records should be accessable. I am adoptee and knowing my birth family has been very fullfilling. After finding my birthmother I had my records opened in court. She was deceased and I wanted to find my birthfather. There was no birthfather listed, but I found him anyway. It's a long story. ;o) I do think it's best to not know or think about one's biological family until at least 18 years of age though. It might be too confusing for a child. Growing up is hard enough as it 'tis. I believe the child should be bonded to the folks that loved them enough to give them a home, a name and happy life. My adopted family was not a happy life, but that is the exception not the rule. Most people who adopt are wonderful, good folks. Anyway, it is so much fun having brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. I feel connected to someone at last.  (Dec 29, 2007 | post #5)

2008 Presidential Election

Election 2008 - What's your issue?

Get the gangster government out of our lives!! That's my main issue. Just think, if the government (Federal, State, Local) would just get out of the way, capitalism could run the ecomony like it's suppose to.  (Dec 29, 2007 | post #146)

Why has society declined so much in last 50 yrs?

I totally agree. That is so well written, there's nothing I could add (it's unusual for me to be speechless). Good show 'ol chap! :o) I like your pic of Ronaldus Magnamus. My husband and I miss him.  (Dec 29, 2007 | post #11)

Pakistan's Bhutto Killed by Bombing

Bhutto gave her life to promote "democracy " in a land that knows no freedom. May she rest peacefully with her ancestors. Pakistan has our heartfelt prayers for freedom from tyranny in Jesus Christ's name.  (Dec 29, 2007 | post #1288)

Cancer

Marijuana May Inhibit Invasive Cancer Cell Growth

The government has no right to tell law-abiding American citizens what we can watch, think, say, drink, smoke or do as long as it doesn't involve children, animals or national security. LEGALIZE IT, tax it, regulate it and stop making average citizens criminals! It would bust up black gangs tomorrow.  (Dec 29, 2007 | post #249)

is rosie o'donnell a role model for truthers

Rosie is a sad, pathetic woman with too much time on her hands. She needs sympathy and therapy, not idol worship. Shame on the people that let her adopt children.  (Dec 21, 2007 | post #6)

What's your favorite cartoon?

Sorry, I should have listed that as a choice too. :o) There were some good some 'toons during that decade. I enjoyed watching Johnny Quest, and I think those were produced in the late '60s and/or early '70s.  (Dec 21, 2007 | post #3)

US News

How far do you live from your hometown?

I was raised in Titusville, Florida. Hated it. Moved to Jacksonville, Florida. Retired. Now live in Southeast Georgia. I never felt 'at home' in Titusville but it could have been the abuse. I love it where I live now. I feel safe and happy, and plan to not leave until the preverbial dirt nap. God is very merciful. :o)  (Dec 20, 2007 | post #443)

What's your favorite cartoon?

I'm kinda hooked on Family Guy here lately. The new Simpson's just aren't funny to me anymore.  (Dec 20, 2007 | post #1)

Do you like living in Waycross?

Boy, that's the truth! That's good advice: get involved in the community and make changes that way. There are many places much, much worse. Even with all our 'problems' here I don't envision living anywhere else. This is my home now and I love it.  (Dec 20, 2007 | post #29)
