Didn't like him when he was at Woodrow Wilson and I am glad now that my child is in middle school and I don't have to put up with his "I am better than all of you because my butt is bigger than yours" attitude. Jankoviac has no business being around kids. You can tell he is just using this as a step stone to something else.  (Dec 7, 2009 | post #6)

Man in power chair dies after being struck on US 49B at P...

Sure they do, but you also have to deduct points for damage done to the vehicle from the wheelchair.  (Dec 7, 2009 | post #42)

Did he deserve to be left for dead? It wasn't the kids fault possibly that he hit him, but it was the kids fault he didn't stop. Do you know if he had stopped, the man might be alive today and the only thing the kid would have had to worry about was fixing his car.  (Dec 7, 2009 | post #36)

Not a good decision??? WTH? Putting marshmallows in the microwave to watch them explode is not a good decision. Starting smoking is not a good decision. Driving your wheelchair down a dark road is not a good decision. None of these things are illegal. Leaving the scene of an accident is illegal!! Who cares that this "kid" who is old enough to drive, yet doesn't seem to understand the basics, is going to have to live with this for the rest of this life? The guy who died doesn't get a chance to live and learn from his mistake because a "kid" left him there on a cold, wet, night, to die. For all of you who are ralling around this kid, why don't you take a moment and tell your children the rules of the road. If you hit something, stop and see what you hit. If you hit a person, then stay there and call 911. Don't run and hide. This "kid" is almost old enough to vote. And this is the type that is going be choosing the leaders of our country and city. I feel wonderful knowing the future is in the hands of 17 year old "kids" who can't even understand the laws. I do feel bad that he will have to live with this, but it was his decision to run, and he needs to be held accountable for his actions. It's not like he is going get into serious trouble anyway, probably just a slap on the wrist, and by the time he turns 18 it will be a sealed juvie record.  (Dec 7, 2009 | post #33)

Paragould police kill knife-wielder

They found out yesterday, I believe. It was front page of Daily Press today. It is very good news. Now just waiting on the bashing from topix since their names have been released.  (Nov 26, 2009 | post #81)

Paragould police kill knife-wielder

Well you must be very happy to know that there will not be any charges filed against the officers. ASP feels that they acted in self defense. Congratulations, officers. And Happy Thanksgiving!  (Nov 26, 2009 | post #77)
