Minneapolis art museums a bargain compared to New York's ...

Gee, I didn't realize that I had to wait for someone to ask for my opinion before I made a post. So who asked for YOUR opinion in the first place? If you start hacking on Minneapolis in a Twin Cities based newspaper, you better expect someone to tell you to go pound sand where the sun don't shine, ya poser! Go make your comments on the NY Times website- they'll appreciate your wit and wisdom. Loser.  (Jun 19, 2011 | post #11)

Mn Zoo Wolf SHOT DEAD

I'm sorry, bud, but you couldn't be more WRONG! Where did you learn about wolf behavior? "Once they stalk a human they WILL eventually take a human.." what utter fallacy! Wolves are beautiful creatures, they're gentle and loving and protective of their young and their pack. If you mess with them, of course they're going to defend themselves, but they're NOT going to track you down and kill you if you just leave them alone. It worries me that people with your attitude are allowed to carry guns into the woods and kill whatever you choose.  (Jun 19, 2011 | post #29)

Global warming 'undeniable,' scientists say

How does a forum on global warming get turned around to U.S. military involvement with Al Queda? Just askin'.  (Jun 13, 2011 | post #8682)

Taste of Minnesota scrubbed for 2011

People, people- calm down. Blistream never said the music was 100 "PER CENT" free! Look at his original post: "Where else on planet earth could you see 100's of FREE national recording stars". Hundreds, not 100%. There IS a difference. I think some of you need reading glasses.  (Jun 13, 2011 | post #33)

Not TOO full of yourself, are you? You know what they say though: Opinions are like rear ends- everyone has one, and they all stink. Have a nice day, you educated, hip person. (Loser)  (Jun 13, 2011 | post #6)

Global warming 'undeniable,' scientists say Oh yeah? I hereby unequivocally DENY global warming! There, that wasn't hard, was it?  (Jun 11, 2011 | post #8645)

Mn Zoo Wolf SHOT DEAD

I think the staff panicked. They could have evacuated the visitors to one of the buildings, let the wolf calm down and then slowly and carefully maneuvered it into a place where it could be tranquilized and re-captured. Wolves are not vicious human killers- the thing was scared and just trying to find a nice quiet place to hide, NOT trying to snatch the nearest child for breakfast!  (Jun 11, 2011 | post #13)

New York is a filthy toilet and the people that live there are rude and obnoxious. In my humble opinion.  (Jun 11, 2011 | post #4)

Minnesota rail advocates make pitch to Ramsey County

Irish: I've been thinking the same thing as I read ahblids comments. Sounds just too well prepared, too polished, too many "facts and figures" for the average commenter. Gotta be working for the MTC or something like it. In my opinion.  (May 31, 2011 | post #232)

Face it guys, no one is EVER going to convert ahblid to their way of thinking. You can post facts and figures til your blue in the face, and he/she is never going to change their mind, just like he/she is not going to change YOUR mind. He/she will just post more facts and figures that diametrically oppose anything you post. What's the point? Those who want a light rail system will use it, and those of us who don't see the need or value of it, won't use it. Life will go on, won't it?  (May 30, 2011 | post #208)

Survey: 1 in 5 drivers should not be on the road

Capt Crunch, huh? You like Capt. Crunch cereal then, right? You must, your screen name is Capt. Crunch, isn't it? See how stupid it sounds, making an assumption based on something as vague as a screen name? You must be under 35 or so, that's all I can think of. Why else would someone be so foolish on a public comment section? You have a nice day now, sonny.  (May 30, 2011 | post #17)

Capt Crunch- Wow, you are like one of the strangest people I've come across on chat boards. First of all, how could you possibly know the bounds of my imagination? Obviously, you can't. So you are speaking out of ignorance. Secondly, the "old saw" is "the pot calling the kettle black:, NOT, as you incorrectly write "the kettle calling the pot black". Finally, what's wrong with someone liking cats? Last I checked, there are actually more cat owners in the U.S. than there are dog owners. You, Capt, come off as kind of a "DORK" to me. Namaste. (Look it up, doofus!)  (May 30, 2011 | post #16)

That's the part I can't get my head around- if I'm going to use the light rail to get to one of the downtown areas, I'm still going to need to use some kind of vehicle to get to the area served by the light rail system. If I have to use said vehicle to get to the train, I might as well just stay in that vehicle and go to my destination. Why park it and get on a train? Sounds like something a patient in a mental institution might come up with, to me.  (May 30, 2011 | post #164)

Captain" Crunch: Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! You belittle the two posters for "appointing themselves as judges", and that's EXACTLY what YOU are doing! YOU sound more like a pompous ass than they do. Who appointed YOU a "Captain "? Yourself? It boggles the imagination.  (May 30, 2011 | post #13)
