Verbatim: Voucher law violates Indiana Constitution

One would think a more insightful post could be made. This may very well be unconstitutional according to the Indiana Constitution: Section 6. No state money for religious institutions Section 6. No money shall be drawn from the treasury, for the benefit of any religious or theological institution. The concept behind vouchers is competition, not religion. Our school systems in Indiana are both good and bad depending where you live. We need to fix the bad and just throwing more money at the problem has not helped historically.  (Jul 4, 2011 | post #2)


IN Property Tax Cap Amendment, Public Question 1

Seeing how the new assessment increased my property taxes and the cap will reduce them to more than twice what I was paying before, I don't see this as a tax shift but a cap on future extravagant increases over the value of the property.  (Jul 4, 2011 | post #371)
