jeff and mandy fillers

They do need help; I wish I could help them. I just don't think they need shitty gossip blogs trash them. That will not help the situation. I personally told Mandi that she needs to get clean, but I know (even before 'Intervention' came out) that people DO NOT get help until they feel that they need it. This isn't just a response to your post; its to all the posts that put them in some junkie category. I do agree tho. They DO need some help. I wish that this town had a real place to go clean up. Unfortunately, even though we have meth lab after meth lab busted in Greene Co., how Main Street looks is more important...  (Jan 15, 2013 | post #53)

Here; in the real world Neo. I'm not stuck in some 13th century Catholic vault: its just what married people SHOULD do. That's the whole idea behind marriage. "In sickness & in health..."  (Jan 15, 2013 | post #52)

jeff and mandy fillers

You're a fool if you ever believed that Jeff wanted her out of his life. Mandi is not psychotic, nor is she violent. I'll admit that they have both had a very tough time this past year, but who are we to judge them? They just need some help. I can't understand what they are going through, but I can't sit back and let someone talk shit about Mandi either. She may be on the wrong path right now, but she is a wonderful person who's been hurt by Jeff time and time again. She puts up with it because that is what married people do; they stay together. Sounds like you may know Jeff personally...  (Jan 12, 2013 | post #37)

Thieves at Family Dollar

Wait, wasn't this thread about people stealing from a dollar store? Then somehow, it mutated and delved into the personal lives of dollar-store employees and that made me feel all dirty. Let's back up a minute people and revisit the central issue here. Let's go all the way back to the original thread and discuss how shitty it is to have to steal from the dollar store. Is that what we've come to? I mean, 25% of people in this county are on disability. That means for every four people you know; one is drawing a check. Yet people still can't afford the Family Dollar prices? God people! You steal from the dollar store, they have to raise their prices. They raise their prices, then Wal-mart raises their prices. Then everybody raises prices. You Idiots!!! If you're gonna steal, steal from high-end places so it doesn't affect the rest of us poor-folk. Good grief. The only reason that the dollar tree can sell us stuff for a F*(^%n dollar is because they contract out and buy stuff from 3rd world countries that I can't even pronounce. Draw your check, get your roxies, and steal from Abercrombie & Fitch, OK?  (Jun 7, 2011 | post #34)

Niddle Junkie Thread Hater Support Group Association United

I had to let you know that there is yet another niddle thread & it is also a support group. What's odd is that it is rather similar to your original post HH, yet it somehow lacks originality. You should consider yourself a trendsetter really. Imitation is the highest form of flattery, right? Personally, I feel that imitation-anything just won't do. For instance, I refuse to put imitation butter on my popcorn. I'd rather drink gasoline than injest that chemical sludge. The sequel is never as good as the first movie. Back to the Future, Transformers, Pirates of the Carribean, & Jurassic Park are all examples of blockbuster movies that marketed well the first time around. But did we really need a third BTTF or Transformers movie? The answer is No.  (May 24, 2011 | post #10)

Niddle Junkie Thread Hater Support Group Association United

I'm not entirely sure that I am eligible to join. I did start a niddle thread myself... However, I feel certian that I agree with your association's core beliefs. I too believe that lower IQ levels and a lack of a sense of humor are most likely linked. That being said, the ability to get a joke & the ability take a joke are two variables that must be further investigated to conclusively prove the postitive relationship between IQ level and sense of humor. You don't have to be a genius to often get a joke. Especially if the joke is being told live as there is generally some sort of audience and it is easy for anyone, reguardless of their intelligence quotient, to pick up on other people's laughter and join in. However, an internet forum lacks this personal interaction, and thus, it seems that jokes are often lost on many. People tend to lash out when they read something that is meant to be humorous simply because they don't understand that it is indeed a joke. Sounding offended is easier than admitting that you just don't get it and it seems that once you've headed down that road, apparently there's no turning back. Being able to take a joke is another variable that must be explored. This has more to do with sense of humor than IQ. Graceful acceptance that you now look like a Tool is a rarity; in general, people just cannot handle being poked fun at, which is really a shame since it is so easily done in this anonymous format. People will spew forth obscenities and type in ALL CAPS!!!! once they feel they have been personally wronged by another poster. It would be funny, but somehow, it just comes of as pathetic. Pathetic and sad. I feel that research into how people determine tone and level of seriousness will help us all to better understand the kind of Topix poster that we are united against. Thanks HH for starting this support group and I will definately let you know if I can come up with a better acronym.  (May 23, 2011 | post #6)

WTF is a 'niddle?"

Wow, I searched 'niddle' in the forums after I posted originally and I do feel rather silly now. I suppose I should try harder to keep up with what goes on in the ever-changing, fast-paced world of Topix. My sincerest apologies. Honestly Ron  (May 23, 2011 | post #22)

WTF is a 'niddle?"

Seriously, if you're gonna bust on junkies, can you at least do it right?! Really. I've seen like four threads about niddles. I mean, I didn't actually read any of those posts simply because I was afraid it might lower my intelligence level, but I am pretty sure that they are threads discussing people shooting up. Umm, they're called needles people. Isn't it bad enough that these people have drug problems without you tools mislabeling it? Let's get it right. Thses junkies deserve the right to be properly looked down upon.  (May 22, 2011 | post #1)

WANTED: Someone to go back in time with me

I'm glad that someone had the sense to point out the obvious flaws in Time Traveler's proposed journey. I mean, really, how hard is it to understand this concept: Alternate History = Alternate Future, thus the present (our 2010) would cease to exsist. You cannot visit some place or time that doesn't exsist. But I think that everyone has failed to see another problem with his story. He was born in 2007 and time travel is possible in 2097. I'm no math wiz, but doesn't that make him 90+ years old? I would think by this age, one might be more inclined to take a leisurely "time-cruise. " You know, something that involves shuffleboard, going to bed at 4pm, watching The Price is Right, and eating soft foods. Just think about it Time Traveler; you could watch the show, then go back in time, watch it again, & fool all your friends. Everyone will be so impressed by your knowlege of the going price for Polident and Whiskas that you'll forget all about the apparently inescapable Regan years and what Barbie has done to distort girls' self-image.  (Jan 10, 2011 | post #75)

What to do when your in lovewith a married man?

I'm glad that I am not the only one who has the urge to say "NOT." I had to read it twice, but then actually laughed-out-loud.  (Dec 2, 2010 | post #40)

What to do when your in lovewith a married man?

No chizz! (Ya gotta love R. Lee ;) Seriously though, what's wrong with people? How is it that one could be deluded enough to start this topic anyway? sniff, sniff, "No, he really loves me..." Really? Hey lady, don't you know that you can't do anything? The only thing you can do is wallow in self pity, but it looks as though you're already doing that. Men don't leave their wives for women like you. This isn't a lifetime movie.  (Dec 2, 2010 | post #39)

Great Movies to check out

Just saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. If you haven't seen the movies or read the books, take someone with you that has. You should be ok as long as you've seen all the movies. ITS AWESOME!!!!! Going to go see it again next week :)  (Dec 1, 2010 | post #12)
