Is homosexuality a sin?

At the end of the day, you are who you are. No matter how good you are at hiding your "true colours", you can't change the way you feel. It shouldn't be classed as a sin. It's just like being straight. If you and your partner are happy, and you're not harming anyone else, then all is well.  (Aug 9, 2011 | post #44561)

Rioting spirals out of control

That's right, buddy. It is sad to see. Right now, there's a couple of factors which have risen as to why this has started off. The first, the riots began as a peaceful protest in relation to a crisis with jobs. You may or may not but aware of this, and I'm not sure if this is the same case across the pond, but jobs are pretty scarce over here, and a lot of people are annoyed at the government due to their cutbacks. The other reason which may have sparked off the protest is a man was arrested and placed in the back of a police van, he draw a weapon and the police shot him dead. I can't see why this would cause mass rioting, as the police were only doing their jobs. So I'm pretty sure people are just frustrated, however that's no excuse for violence. It's pretty crazy, but so far, up north where I live it's calm. Let's hope it stays that way. As for the violence and looting, it's completely awful. I've seen footage of an injured man who's bleeding heavily being "helped up" by a group of men, while they're doing this, they steal the contents of his bag. It's terrible. And there's absolutely no excuse for it. Hopefully this has given you an insight into what's going on, I'm not sure how widely this is covered across in the States. When I was in Baltimore I didn't hear much about the UK anyway. If you'd like to know more, personally, I'd visit It's straight to the point, and genuine information. If you trust the media that is.  (Aug 9, 2011 | post #29)

how much are hair stylists making

People who love what they do are the high flyers. Even if they start off on a very low wage, or earn nothing for what they do. If you really enjoy what you do, you'll be one of the best at it. And if your a hairdresser on a salary earning an average salary, step it up a notch and open your own business. Because people who enjoy what they do succeed.  (Aug 8, 2011 | post #7)

Proof there is no god

Here's something to think about. It's called William Paley's watch analogy. You're walking through a field and you find a watch on the ground, as it's a complex piece of equipment, you'd be correct to assume that someone has created it, yes? You then see a rock nearby. This rock will of had to begin an existence at some point. It hasn't been there forever. Therefore, it must also have a creator. I'm agnostic. I believe in some form of creator/god. Because we're all so perfectly designed. The human thumb for example. Think of all the things you couldn't do if you didn't have a thumb. It's THAT useful. It MUST have been created. Maybe not by your so called God (christian) but a superior creator. Just my two cents. Take it or leave it.  (Aug 8, 2011 | post #50)

why are scottish women so ugly ?

A bloke from Manchester asking why Scottish women are "so ugly"? You've probably met one Scottish girl down in your dirty city, and she wasn't all that attractive. I can imagine you've never been to Scotland yourself, because this isn't the case. It's the same anywhere. You've got great looking people, and you've got not so great looking people. Wherever you go, it's the same case. Now, I was down in Oldham, Manchester last month. And let me tell you something, the girls that I saw down there mostly wore tracksuits and caps, plus the fact they were fouled mouthed and had kids at the age of 16. But hey, that's just what I saw. You don't like it do you...  (Aug 8, 2011 | post #11)

Rioting spirals out of control

It's not just London where the riots are occurring now. I'm not sure if you guys are aware about much of this, but for some reason, the rioting has now spread to Birmingham, Bristol, and Manchester. Hopefully this stops soon.  (Aug 8, 2011 | post #6)

Death Penalty - Minneapolis, MN

I'd support it to an extent. If someone's committed a chain of murders, or the murder of a child or police officer. Then yes, the death penalty should be implemented. But in reality, death is usually quite quick. And the people who've committed these atrocities tend not to suffer enough when they die. A huge stretch in prison would probably be more of an effective punishment.  (Aug 8, 2011 | post #119)
