Alonso: Hamilton Is The Strongest Driver

Hey Monty.....your boy today put on a show in Florida, at Daytona......fanta stic performance. Lewis probably wouldn't have started his F1 career with Mclaren, if Montoya didn't leave, which I'm forever very grateful. All in all though Monty, I still wish that Juan Pablo didn't leave F1..!!  (Jan 27, 2013 | post #2)

Interlagos - Brazil 2012 GP -THE FINAL FRONTIER !!

Excellent onboard video explaining supposedly Vettel passing under yellow flag conditions. Towards the end of this video Sebastian did dodge a bullet, and should have been penalized with at least a drive through for overtaking under the yellow flag. http://www.youtube .com/watch?v=LFER0 esusF0  (Nov 27, 2012 | post #29)

I know that Lewis is good, but even he can't drive 2 cars at the same time.  (Nov 22, 2012 | post #64)

Thanks Monty....as you can well imagine, I'm over the moon with Hamilton's fantastic drive and win today. I'm glad that Lewis acted as a spoiler for Vettel, and took away seven points from Sebastian, which will help Alonso still be able to fight for the 2012 WDC. Fernando had another tough drive, but still managed to place on the podium....great start by the way from Alonso. Monty let's hope for rain next weekend a Brazil, because Fernando is at his best when, the conditions are variable, and anything can happen.......A win from 6/10ths good be possible  (Nov 18, 2012 | post #50)

abu dhabi gp 2012 aftermath

4Mil, Monty and G.....As you can well imagine how terrible that I felt, when Lewis had another mechanical failure, while comfortably controlling and leading a race. Twice Lewis has lost his pole positions and race leads, due to mechanical failures and pitwall mistakes. Hamilton without all of these problems could now be challenging for this season's WDC. Fernando put in another fantastic performance to finsh 2nd, driving that mule that he has to put up with last Sunday. I'm still not giving up on Alonso not securing the 2012 WDC.  (Nov 7, 2012 | post #3)

Excellent drive from 6/10ths today Monty, and he made a great move at tha start, to take 3rd place from Lewis and Jenson, aggressive but clean.......Red Bull had better not slip up, because Fernando will be right their to pounce. Decent performance fron Hamilton today, and I thoroughly enjoyed his steering wheel change, during a scheduled pit stop.......Monty, 4Mil, G, and Sam.....Fernando will be the 2012 WDC!  (Oct 28, 2012 | post #8)

F1 Korean GP 2012

It's going to be hard for Fernando, especially with the pace that Red Bull and Vettel are now showing. I'm not now ready to count 6/10ths out yet, but I hope that Lewis will be able to help him maybe by taking a win, and as may points that he can out Vettel.......Alonso can still do it, and this year secure his 3WDC. Let's hope!  (Oct 16, 2012 | post #6)

Japanese F1 GP 2012

4Mil, Monty and G....Fernando's hold on the championship is in serious trouble if Ferrari doesn't bring strong updates for Korea next weekend. It seems as though Red Bull have developed a double DRS system which enabled Vettel to fly at Suzuka. Lewis might be able to offer some challenge to Vettel, which can help Alonso maintain his lead in the championship. Happy for Koby to gain his first podium at home! http://www.jamesal lenonf1.com/2012/1 0/red-bull-double- drs-revealed-in-su zuka/  (Oct 7, 2012 | post #6)

Sam I'm also in NY, go to First row sports.com or P2P4u.net which are the same, then click on Motosport, and then link to Sky Sports F1. Sky Sports F1 have a pre race show on now at 12:21 AM which I am now watching, and will start race coverage at 1:30 AM EST or New York time. Hope that this helps.  (Oct 6, 2012 | post #21)

I've sort of calmned down since Hamilton has joined Mercedes, and will still remain a huge fan, but still that hasn't changed my mind regarding Fernando, who's performance you truly have to admire this year, which can only help you to becoming a fan of Alonso.  (Oct 3, 2012 | post #14)

CONFIRMED - lewis to merc perez to mclaren

You might think that Vettel and Raikkonen are better than Lewis, but I don't. It seems as though Fernando would agree more with me regarding Vettel, rather than you, when he said the following about......Hamilto n. " Lewis is so fast, aggressive, totally focused. He is interested only in Victory. Sebastian has not quite reached that level." " I know he is a two time world champion, but he is still slightly below the level of Lewis." " I have said he is the only one capeable of winning without having the best car. The others win if the car is good, and when the car is not good, they do not win." http://www.f1zone. net/news/alonso-sa ys-hamilton-better -than-vettel/11587 /  (Sep 30, 2012 | post #10)
