Slot machines here against the law..

An 8 year old playing skee ball for tickets for a toy prize is a little different than playing an illegal gambling machine that give tickets that you exchange for cash. They aren't breaking the law, because skee ball has not been outlawed by the state of Missouri.Do you allow your kids to play the slot machines since you say they are the same? Man people get pissy when you hit a nerve around here.I just ask why the Dexter police allow the slot machine to stay out in public areas.I've seen them in several location's.They aren't that hard to find even in family oriented businesses like the bowling alley, convenience store and the pool hall. Why would someone put these in a place where kids are going for entertainment? Would you want your kids to be there if the place ever got raided?  (Oct 3, 2013 | post #19)

Finally someone that speaks the truth.. Like I was saying if everyone gets their cut then everything is kept on the down low.Dexter doesn't benefit any from this unless some in this circle decides to spend what's in there pockets around town. Everyone says clean up the crackheads in town. The owners of these machines are just as big a crook as they are. Both are feeding someones addictions..People go put their money in these machines so they can feed the owners addition. It's just one big scam that's all.  (Sep 28, 2013 | post #18)

Civil Actions People who have lost money gambling, their heirs, spouses and creditors, and the parents of minors who have lost money can all bring civil lawsuits to recover it. They can sue the stakeholder, person or business the money went to. It does not matter if the stakeholder or gambling establishment paid the money to a winner. The stakeholder is still liable to pay back everyone who lost money. This kind of lawsuit must be filed within three months of the date when the money was lost. Prove there's a god.

That's simply because you have nothing to offer..To you this life is it..no life beyond this life..People that try to tell you about the God that created you are only trying to offer you a future other than an eternity in hell. It's out of love and compassion for others.  (Sep 19, 2013 | post #659904)
