Huckabee makes bid for Vice-President on McCain ticket

Based on recent campaign commentary, it is becoming obvious that Huckabee is angling for a spot on a McCain ticket by parroting and defending McCain's BIG LIE about Romney supporting timelines for withdrawal from Iraq. This move consolidates all of the liberal-leaning republican candidates into one basket and leaves ONLY ONE true conservative, Mitt Romney, to carry that banner for all of us who believe in limiting the size and power of the federal government and empowering the people to take responsibility for themselves.  (Feb 2, 2008 | post #1)

Romney Leads In Republican Delegate Race

Florida's winner take all primary on Tuesday will award 57 delegates to one of the Republican candidates. Mitt Romney is best qualified to win the nomination and retain the white House for the GOP. Please vote for Mitt!  (Jan 27, 2008 | post #3)

Mormonism in evangelical voter guide

Please tell me how this statement could logically be interpreted to mean that the Mormon faith is not a Christian faith: "Minnery based his interpretation on the section of Romney's December speech in which the former governor professes "that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of mankind," then acknowledges that religions differ on their beliefs about Christ and "each religion has its own unique doctrines." Particularly when The church said in a statement that "all of our dreams and future aspirations are centered in our belief in Jesus Christ."  (Jan 26, 2008 | post #1)

Romney, McCain clash over economic credentials

I don't see how anyone could have watched the debate in Boca Raton Thursday night and come to any conclusion other than Romney's articulate, intelligent discussion of the issues confirms his position as the conservative leader in the race for the Republican nomination. Hopefully, large numbers of Florida Republicans will respond by casting their votes for him on Tuesday.  (Jan 26, 2008 | post #1)

Romney Leads In The Republican Delegate Race

Mitt clearly won the Republican debate tonight in Boca Raton! He was relaxed, confident, articulate, and extremely well versed on all pertinent issues. Romney demonstrated why he is the man to take on the Democrats in November .  (Jan 24, 2008 | post #7)

2008 Presidential Election

Thompson Supporters Now Free Agents

Now that Fred Thompson has dropped out, conservatives who supported him should rally around Mitt Romney to make sure they have a voice in this presidential campaign. Romney is the only remaining candidate who can credibly carry the conservative message that is so sorely needed at this time to counter-balance the radical left-wing policy messages of all of the Democrat candidates.  (Jan 23, 2008 | post #1)

2008 Presidential Election

Romney Leads In Republican Delegate Race

Mitt Romney continues to lead in the Delegate race for the Republican Presidential Nomination with a total of 59 delegates gathered through three decisive wins and two strong second place finishes in the early state contests. Huckabee is in second place in the delegate count with 40 and only one win. McCain is third with 36 delegates and two wins. Romney is the only candidate who seriously campaigned in all of the Republican contests to date. His strategy to mount a cohesive, committed campaign in every state leading up to the National Convention is proving to be a wise decision. It is reflective of his experience in turning companies around in the private sector. He is also the only candidate who can pull economic, social, and strong national defense conservatives together to defeat the democrat candidate in November.  (Jan 23, 2008 | post #1)
