Northern NEW JERSEY - PAIN MANAGEMENT DOCTOR

I have been on Oxycodone for the past 5 years (starting at first with percocets, then eventually increased to Oxycotton and Oxycodone) for a SEVERE motorcycle accident that left me with 2 broken hips, shattered right leg (metal rod was inserted to hold the leg bone together), shattered collar bone in multiple places, torn off testicles (healed normally), urethra torn from bladder, bladder exploded, and other minor wounds. I am LOOKING for long term treatment for ACUTE CHRONIC pain, I WANT to get off pills (OXYcodone) and onto a timed release patch. I NO LONGER want pills, I have recently moved to the area but need to find a permanent Pain Management doctor. I need to find a PAIN MANAGEMENT DOCTOR ASAP, does anyone know of any GOOD LEGITIMATE doctors in NORTHERN NJ?  (Jun 12, 2010 | post #1)

Thanks Jackets, I have tried Lidoderm but found that they dont give me the pain relief I need. I have very serious damage to my skeletal bones from my Harley accident. I was looking for Fentnyl for the opiate pain relief that I get from the pills. I just dont want to run out early (as you noted) which I ALWAYS seem to do and remove the PILLS ALL TOGETHER! I read ALL the time about those online pharmacies but havent EVER found anything legit and I am too afraid myself to try them.  (Jun 12, 2010 | post #912)

BTW, I guess I REALLY should have asked, is it the BIG (orange stop sign) 8MG or the lil pill 2 MG of SUBOXONE? THIS makes a huge difference!  (Jun 10, 2010 | post #5)

NOT really other than I WANT to try the time released patch to get me off the pills. I CANNOT deal with the pills anymore! I have pain so I over take, then I run out, and then I go into a weeks or two of WD's and I CANNOT deal with this anymore! I am hoping the time released FENTYNL patch will give me a constant stream of meds so I don't AND CANNOT take pills anymore AND/OR run out a week early!!!  (Jun 10, 2010 | post #910)

How you ever been on SUBOXONE before or is this your first time, are you in therapy or is this for RECREATIONAL use? I don't care WHY and I wont ever judge, all I care about is giving the help I have learned (which has helped me tremendously)! BUT ALL of the info I HAVE HAS been received from others (and I DOUBT any of them where doctors - but I imagine these where OTHERS just like me - the END USER trying to quit the pills that DOCTORS PRESCRIBED TO US - SO seek medical help if this is an emergency OR CALL 911 - don't just listen to ME!). Snorting SUBS will get the 'BA' (BIO AVAILABILITY) of SUBS to become higher THUS saving you more of your medicine (because you can snort a lot less of the medication). BUT really if you are new and just starting treatment (even if you are using for RECREATIONAL use) I would recommend just waiting for a AT LEAST day or so for it to build up before you even think about snorting it or taking it any way other than prescribed. In my personal experience it has a way to just CREEP up on you and be WAY potent! IME I find the first day it does JUST 'OK' (withdrawals are minimal but STILL there - JUST NOT DEBILITATING to living life normally - somewhat) but the next day or so once it builds up, it REALLY helps! THAT being said there are a few ways that are tested to be the 'better' way to increase 'BA' of SUBS one being snorting (DON'T RECOMMEND), one being shooting (NEVER SHOT ANYTHING AND DO NOT RECOMMEND), and plugging (DO NOT RECOMMEND). This ALL being said a lot of people will respond that the 'other' ways to use SUBS will RAISE the BIO AVAILABILITY of SUBOXONE and is OK to try, thats fine, I just DON'T recommend (mostly because all those ways perpetuate the 'user' addict in most of us). SUBOXONE to 'ME in particular' is a miracle drug that kept me from using OXYcodone pills which I desperately tried to quit (BUT could not because of WITHDRAWALS!).  (Jun 10, 2010 | post #4)

How do you feel, do you have any more withdrawals? I sometimes also absorb them really quickly but usually it takes me 8 - 10 minutes. The thing with Suboxone is that it wont feel like much and then all of a sudden it is there and BIG time there, it takes time to build up in the blood stream (well for me at least).  (Jun 10, 2010 | post #2)

Pain Management doctors near Roxbury, Landing, Succusunna?

I have been on Oxycodone for the past 5 years (starting at first with percocets, then eventually increased to Oxycotton and Oxycodone) for a SEVERE motorcycle accident that left me with 2 broken hips, shattered right leg (metal rod was inserted to hold the leg bone together), shattered collar bone in multiple places, torn off testicles (healed normally), urethra torn from bladder, bladder exploded, and other minor wounds. I NO LONGER want pills, I have recently moved to the area but need to find a permanent Pain Management doctor. Please email me so I can confirm if your practice is correct for my needs. I have pictures and XRAYS of my damage (along with the scars and multiple bone breaks which can be felt). I am new (well back) to the area and need to find a PM doctor in the area. I am NOT looking to buy drugs, i am asking for legitimate doctors that deal strictly in PM. Thank you in advance!  (Jun 10, 2010 | post #1)
