I am sure the mother and son were scared, but they also trusted the Lord. They trusted that the Lord would provide, and He did. (31 min ago | post #6746)

Does not matter what your intent is,if you have read any other threads with similar questions, you will find they will more than likely get slammed. This causes innocent people to get hurt. Read some of the other threads and you will see what I mean. Intent does not change the fact that people will get slammed.Have a great evening. (8 hrs ago | post #37)

You are right. After reading Genesis, there is no doubt in my mind that he knew deep down inside that it was a teast and that God would provide some way out. And guess what? He did. (9 hrs ago | post #6723)

Here is my position on this and in my study of the Bible,I find this to be a "big" difference. God spoke "directly " to Abraham. God did not use a mere human to do so. A test directly from God and not through a human takes away all doubt of ulterior motives and leaves no doubt for any confusion. None of the other Biblical Prophets or Apostles ever did anything like this. (18 hrs ago | post #6714)
"ClimateGate"....The Fix is in
Add this to the equation. No big surprise to me. Document Reveals U.N.'s Goal of Becoming Rule-Maker in Global Environmental Talks Monday, November 30, 2009 By George Russell Environmentalism should be regarded on the same level with religion "as the only compelling, value-based narrative available to humanity," according to a paper written two years ago to influence the future strategy of the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP), the world's would-be environmental watchdog. The purpose of the paper, put together after an unpublicized day-long session in Switzerland by some of the world's top environmental bureaucrats: to argue for a new and unprecedented effort to move environmental concerns to "the center of political and economic decision-making " around the world — and perhaps not coincidentally, expand the influence and reach of UNEP at the tables of world power, as a rule-maker and potential supervisor of the New Environmental Order. http://www.foxnews .com/story/0,2933, 577827,00.html (18 hrs ago | post #3)
