I was off topic.Sorry.It should have been put on another thread.But what is on topic here is that I heard a little more about Obama quiting his church.I will have to withdraw my comment that he is quick & here is why.According to a report I heard,Obama said he quit his church because it was distracting to the members of his church if he remained as a member.Wow!!Not because of what his former Pastor has said or what the Catholic Pastor has said or what positions the church holds on things but because it will distract from the members.Again I say Wow!He never disappoints me.It just keeps getting better & better. I just heard a report that the Senate is now considering a bill that would cut greenhouse gasses in the US.But a couple independent government agencies(EPA being one) said gas prices will increase a minimum of $1.50 per gallon because of this bill.I just caught part of the news on that & will try to research more on it. Here is something my brother e-mailed to me.AO,JJ,Fred ,Dani,UTStudent and the rest of the forum gang,I hope you enjoy this.. One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was really friendly. So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!' This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.' He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets. The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so...... 'Love the people who treat you right. AO,we often disagree on a lot of things but I enjoy the gentlemanly way you disagree with me.I do not like Obama at all(but you know that) and on family issues I am conservative(you also know that)but on fiscal issues I tend to lean a bit liberal(please do not fall over..lol)..But me and JJ feel you are entitled to your views(even if they are wrong lol..),that is what makes America great.There are some people that just don't like my opinions because I have a lot of them.I'm still not feeling the love as often as I would like.
