The bar in the country

Oh Bob, get your facts straight. It was a jury from Chillicothe the FIRST time. But what is your excuse for the SECOND conviction?  (Oct 11, 2010 | post #33)

Gun Control - Chillicothe, MO

I'm not opposed to banning firearms UNLESS a person has been convicted of a violent crime. And I think you'll see that I'm FOR LAW ABIDING citizens maintaining their rights to own firearms. I never said anything about shooting anyone. In fact I'm completely OPPOSED to shooting anyone. I said we hunt and shoot blue rock. I also believe that you should be free to believe in whatever religion you like, or none at all. You SHOULD have rights, until you hurt someone, and then you forfeit them. And I also believe in freedom of speech, and defending yourself with words, just as I have with Guy.  (Oct 10, 2010 | post #154)

Missouri Proposition B: The Puppy Mill Bill

How about we actually enforce the existing laws? Who is to say that anyone is going to enforce any NEW laws better than they do now? Get your puppies at the pound and mills will be unnecessary. STILL voting NO on B for a VARIETY of reasons already stated.  (Oct 10, 2010 | post #468)

And once again, you have proven your ignorance. I love my man AND my Rugers. I am a card carrying member of the NRA, and my gun collection is worth more than your crappy house that the city wants condemned. I am AGAINST gun control for law abiding citizens. Where we differ is that I believe IF you are CONVICTED of an act of domestic violence you are the one forfeiting that right. If you don't beat your wife, you won't have to worry about it.  (Oct 10, 2010 | post #151)

Homecoming parade

Listen here, there is no need to get nasty. I was stating the obvious, and never EVER lashed out at you for being concerned about your child. I merely stated that the kids enjoy going to Sonic. I managed to take time out of my busy work schedule to MEET my kids at Sonic and watch the parade WITH THEM. So if you are THAT concerned take an hour off from work or tell your child to stay at the school. And I'm beginning to think that Midol isn't a bad idea either.  (Oct 10, 2010 | post #23)

And our healthcare for humans is substandard at best. But on a REAL farm animals get excellent healthcare. You are obviously uneducated when it comes to running a family farm.  (Oct 10, 2010 | post #442)

Homecoming parade

I did have the same concern when my kids were in middle school. But I made sure they walked with a group of friends, and kept their cell phone with them. Then LOVED having a little independence and going to Sonic. It is kind of a right of passage at that age.  (Oct 10, 2010 | post #18)

Missouri Proposition B: The Puppy Mill Bill

I find it interesting that LOCAL USHS says this has nothing to do with agriculture and yet continues to insult farmers with comments like "Hillbilly " and "Inbred" . It has EVERYTHING to do with agriculture! And if they knew ANYTHING about farmers they'd know that the vast majority of farm animals get better healthcare than the average US citizen. And a farmer spends MORE time tending their animals than the average person works at a regular job, and for less money. These people are brainwashed or living in ignorance.  (Oct 10, 2010 | post #433)

Who would be good candidates for our school board?

Seriously? THAT is your concern for a person who would run for school board?!!  (Oct 10, 2010 | post #22)

And by the way, Mrs. Educated, the use of "here" in your last sentence should have been "hear". You must have skipped class that day, huh?  (Oct 9, 2010 | post #362)

And is it REALLY any shock that he "disses" a female when he is SO concerned about domestic abusers keeping their firearms. I think he has made my point for me.  (Oct 9, 2010 | post #144)
